I know how this can be fixed.

    Private servers

Back then each server had their own moderators to kick these people!!!!!

EA only servers have 0 management!!!!

This genre has been going downhill for games/years..

removing commanders, not allowing modding, not allowing private servers, removing squad leader abilities, fishbowling the maps, reducing the out of bounds timer to 10 SECONDS!!, hidden map obstacles to prevent from freely moving around, forced pathways, not allowing team switching, horrible team balance, forcing players to play as women pilots/ tank operators in a major male player base (it is ok to play as women!), making fun of player base at the first bf5 conference, not allowing the historic German word for national socialism, allowing cursing in IN-GAME AUDIO but censoring chat words like "blacks" and "jews" along with the normal curse words, and worst of all rampant cheaters.

What happened to the true open maps like El Alamein? These almost had no ceiling for planes, 60 second out of bounds, which never happened since the map was so big.

EA opened it. Perhaps at the least it will help someone over there gather data for improvements in late game BF V updates, or have some ideas of what NOT to do for the next release.

@EA_Tom has been polite and upfront with me in the past. This thread was created for more than just a frustration vent.

Although I can assure you that all of us in the PC community would like to see or hear them doing more to help out the current game, they may not do so on this thread.

Yes, It is counterintuitive to me as well - but likely it is so they can avoid their posts from become endless rants from angry players. Much of what has been posted on here is already that.

Albeit totally deserved by lack of effective anti-cheat development on BF V, things can often span into a yelling match that can become even less productive than this thread already is.

The poor admins have already had to step in on here in every other post ( including on some of mine ) and I’m sure they would rather not want to deal with having to police that nightmare on their plates too.

    @Carbonic
    @LOLGotYerTags

It’s more of a “post your concerns” thread. This way they can see your comments, frustrations, and get together and say

“Hey guys look at these ideas and these complaints. What can we do to try to address these from happening again in the future.”

Because of this, I think if you’re looking for a loud response from EA on this thread, you’d be more likely to hear it elsewhere.

I would keep an ear to the ground on their updates and hope they eventually do something to help the BF V fans from the intense cheater struggle online.

At the least we know they are working on their own software to better combat cheating for the next release as previously stated on here. It began development last October, I believe the poster said. If that’s true, maybe they will test it on BF V once it’s completed. Most software of that caliber, I’ve understood takes 8-12 months to render from a competent team. So this may be something we see implemented on BF V’s late game, especially if it helps clear the bugs and mishaps before next game’s release date.

I totally agree with you but the biggest problem is that EA/Dice do not care about us at all. we are frustrated and list all these ideas and they say they are listening to us but if they were wow we could have something that we purchased and could be enjoying.

My thoughts on cheating: It actively makes me play the game less and spend less money on it. I hate it. It's obvious when you are in the middle of a smoke barrage and someone gets a headshot on you with a tank gunner or lewis. You get revived, only to get headshot again by the same person. Every time I play BFV I always end on a sour note due to blatant hackers and lack of autobalance. It's like a big juicy wet fart someone leaves you right before heading out the room.

Suggestions on cheating? Honestly I'm under the impression you currently do not have any anti-cheat in place whatsoever. What blows my mind is that there have been some level 100+ individuals that I thought were good, only to realize that they were cheating as well. To get on with hacks for that long is unacceptable. My main suggestion is to prove that you actually are doing something about cheaters. Whether it's using an anti-cheat that shows on startup, or naming players who get banned in realtime next to chat, show us that you actually take action against these people. Honestly you should just get real chummy with the devs at Ubisoft and ask what they do for Rainbow Six: Siege. At this time, I don't think BFV has any anti-cheat implemented.

More and more cheaters on the servers and no way to do anything about it. Next BF = I WILL NOT BUY IT as long as there is no real anti-cheat protection.

    [Discussing moderation removed]

If you are not doing anything about cheaters, do not wonder that people rage out here.

If Dice/EA are unable to bring in a decent anti cheat system / punkbuster they need to let the players moderate the servers using vote kick. They need to do it soon rather than releasing new maps / weapons / skins otherwise here will be no one left to use them .

I`m sick of reporting cheats every day. Get his sorted I did actually pay for this game!

122 pages , 2000+ comments on just this discussion alone not to mention all the other post started on this subject on here and on twitter, discord and reddit and still nothing has been done and EA/Dice have yet to make a response to all this. This thread should be locked and closed because nothing will be done about it and this thread seems to prove that.

I said this back around Christmas time last year,  :D :  "Can we have a discussion to end this 42 page cheating discussion. I think EA/DICE knows about it by now. How do you undo notification on this forum? this Mega Topic is spamming my notifications....."  There is no need to take video, most high kill hackers have practically all head shots with a machine gun during a game and less than 2 days experience on BF5. You don't have to be very smart to figure that out.

I can send you links with info that there are about 7 regular hackers on the North American servers, most of whom have well over 5 days played.  Lots use sniper rifles rather than machine guns too.

Edit: not to mention the amount of instant headshots from all ranges

He announced today that private servers can now advance your experience in Tides of War.   Pretty much the best solution to the "anti-cheat" that we have had so far.

    Thank you, @PartWelsh

This game is really unplayable with all the cheaters. They know they can´t be touched so they mock everyone and the server dies when all leave.

I think this thread is a living example that DICE don´t give a flying [removed] about feedback. No matter how hard some people try to give good feedback, starting threads etc etc, we all end up in the same gutter over and over.

I am really surprised that someone actually plays the "game" at all.

This game will be memed to insanity

why waste any more of your time on this dead duck, play something else, other games to play with anti cheat no doubt, stuff that actually works, probably wont find anything from EA that fits the bill.

i suspect dice may regret getting in with EA, shame such talent is wasted, desert combat MOD for bf1942 was possibly their finest hour.

the funny part about this thread and all the complains - when bf 6 will be released over 90% of the players will forgot the mess from bf 5 and still buy the game, i would bet..

This is how EA / Dice chose to make their games. Then it is more that everyone must accept their choice and move on. Because nothing new has happened on this front since the game was released, and nothing will change as long as people insist on continuing to play. Therefore, this thread can only be seen as a paper basket where they throw away what is not important, to keep the rest of the forum clean. Where they take care of the problems that are important to them.

Only when it's on sale for half price.
