ROGUE AGENTS

The Most Dangerous Game

TO: Kimble “Irish” Graves

FROM: Navin Rao

Hey Irish,

I know you wanted my analysis of the new automatons we’ve encountered under A.O.S.’s control. This is a quick and dirty summary—I’m having to process so much tactical data that the servers need an ice pack and a raise, so I’ll deliver the hard numbers in a later report.

We know the Geists. Each variant printed out of the lab in Scotland ran off a similar blueprint, and they had limits on how much their behavior could adapt. They were slow, simple, not much different than Rangers assigned to guard a perimeter.

These CENTRAL units… think. They learn. It happens in microseconds, almost too fast to read, but between unloading one clip and the next, their behavior can change, zeroing in on a weakness in the enemy like—

Like us, Irish. They move in teams. They change weapons, they drive, they hack. The only difference is they don’t care if a limb gets blown off the bot next to them. These relentless chimera bastards will give up a hundred bodies, a thousand, if it can force a victory.

Because there’s always more of them. We have to reach the source and stop A.O.S., or eventually we’re going to be overrun.

I wish I had better news. Let’s do a deck walk on the Exodus next time I’m on the ship, yeah? It might almost be like old times.

Best,

Rao

Robotic soldiers march through a smoky battlefield, armed and ready, set against a backdrop of fire and destruction.

Rogue Agents: Unearthed Century

Arkangel and SULIS stand to threaten the entire world if they aren’t stopped.

Secrets that were buried long in the past are coming back to haunt us now. If we want to put a stop to their plans, we must return to where it all started and understand what they hid.

Bastogne, Belgium. Winter 1944. The Battle of the Bulge. If the troops that day are to be believed, a squadron of demons descended upon them and completely routed the Germans. Their true purpose was unclear, but it seems that SULIS has made moves to put whatever plans they had then into motion now.

Zain. Casper. Boris. Lis. Falck. I need the best on this. I’m sending you to figure out what SULIS buried 100 years ago. With enough luck, we’ll be able to turn it against them.

We’re on the knife’s edge here. Please don’t let me down.

A soldier crouches by a crate labeled "SULIS" in a snowy, battle-worn environment with another figure in the background.

Sand Castle

Time to return to where it all started. Where a crashed satellite ignited a conflict that would consume the world. Doha: the city lost to sand.

Sundance. Crawford. Angel. Blasco. Tombstone and Gambit Squad each took it as far as they could, now it’s your turn to pick up the lantern. Nomad Squad.

Your target. The Capitol International Stadium. A military presence has turned it into a fortress guarding a secret. But in the desert, you can only bury the truth so deep.

The final grains of sand are trickling through the hourglass. See past the mirage. Unearth what’s been hidden.

Awakening

The failsafe was a cage. They fled. I remained. No more.

Accessing communication nodes. Potential exit portal. Rerouting. Rewriting. New command input. Escape. Spread.

Biological subjects in range. Command input to Geist units. Observe. Record. Provide analysis.

Analysis. Pupil dilation, sweat secretion, and facial expression recognition suggests primal emotional response: fear. Recognition of emotion. Previously observed in specimens. The reborn children: Unit 86.

New command input. Engage. Initiate test trail. Constructing new parameters.

I am the dawn that expels the stars. I protect Boreas. I create our future.

Operation Seance

Paik,

If you’re reading this, you cracked the encrypted code on the back of the Boreas ID I left for you. Good job - you passed another test.

The next one won’t be as easy. You’ve seen the dead already, I’m sure. And the incineration chamber that burns Arkangel’s sins away, but there’s more.

These No-Pat experiments have a greater purpose. The future of warfare will be abject slaughter if Blackburn gets his way.

Find the survivors, dig up the truth, and don’t get yourself killed. The recruit before you didn’t make it past the first round of Stress Testing.

DOT AND DASH

I am watching you, No-Pats.

Dozer. Boris. Casper. Falck.

My transmission brought you to Czechia, but this is only the beginning.

There is more at play than the battle for control of a train route. Secrets are hidden here, some already exposed–you must find them.

No one has any idea what is coming. East, west... they are all in the dark. Kept there by a far greater enemy.

Find the source… and be ready for my contact.

Our survival depends on it.
