CREATE HISTORY WITH F1® 24 SEASON TWO

A short view back to the past and near future with unlockables aplenty

EA SPORTS™

Summer break? What summer break?! EA SPORTS™ F1® 24’s Season 2 update drops on July 24, kicking off with a look back on the first half of the 2024 season and beyond, with a number of unlockable rewards*.

Whilst the teams and drivers will be off enjoying their summer holidays, the action doesn’t stop in F1® 24. From reliving a debut home race to preparing for a showdown on one of the world’s most iconic circuits, Season 2 of F1® 24’s live service keeps things fresh in F1® World whilst the sport is on hiatus.

Split into two separate parts, hit the track with new Challenge Career moments, with new chances to test your skills against the pros and win legendary rewards. Here’s what you can expect:

PART 1: KICK SAUBER EVENT SERIES (July 29 - Aug 18)

Challenge Career: Valtteri Bottas (July 29 - Aug 18)

Kicking things off is the Bottas Challenge Career, bringing you back to a selection of circuits where the Finnish driver has delivered some of his greatest performances, including Bahrain, Jeddah, Australia, Japan, and the returning Chinese Grand Prix.

Head to Career > Challenge Career to tackle the latest Challenge Career in the seat of everyone’s favourite honorary Aussie. Complete each of the three episodes of this event to unlock the “Maple Forest” gloves and car livery. Plus, if you complete Episode 2, you’ll receive Bottas’ awesome Australian Grand Prix helmet from this year’s race.

Episode 1 takes place from July 29 to August 4. Episode 2 from August 4 to 11, and Episode 3 from August 11 to 18.

Race Scenario: Chinese GP “Replay” (July 29 - Aug 18)

This year, China returned to the calendar after a 5-year break, with Zhou Guanyu becoming the first Chinese driver to race in a home Grand Prix.

For this Replay challenge, your goal is to relive Zhou’s race at the Shanghai International Circuit, improving on his real-life race result of 14th by climbing the order to score some points.

Take control of the final tyre stint and push his soft tyres to the limit to earn stickers for the Kick Sauber section of the Compendium. Plus, there are more rewards based on how high up you finish in the order. A “Back to Back” profile emblem is yours for finishing in the top 50% of the leaderboard, and if you make it to the top 30% you’ll unlock the “VGW-500” wing for your F1® World car, with a 1200 Tech Level that will boost your XP when racing at tracks in Asia.

China Pro Challenge: Zhou Guanyu (July 29 - Aug 18)

The final slot in the Kick Sauber Event Series is a Pro Challenge from the very same driver.

You’ll be tasked to try to beat a lap that Zhou’s set for you around the Shanghai circuit, and if you can pull it off, you will unlock his special Chinese Grand Prix race helmet to use on your personal custom driver. Plus, if you make it to the Silver tier on the leaderboard you’ll earn Chinese GP stickers for the Compendium, and at the Gold tier there are stickers for the Zhou Guanyu section too.

Struggling to match Zhou’s pace? Don’t forget that the free EA Racenet app can help you see where you’re losing time and where you can make gains on your rivals.

PART 2: RED BULL EVENT SERIES

Monza Pro Challenge: Max Verstappen (Aug 20 - Sep 15)

Part two of this season revolves around the driver championship winner and cover star for F1 24 Champions Edition, Max Vertsappen.

Milan. Home of AC, Internazionale, and Monza. It’s that time of year when F1 returns to some of its most legendary historic circuits, and the “Temple of Speed” is one of the true classics. Coinciding with the release of EA SPORTS FC™ 25 there will be a Verstappen-themed reward for you to unlock, which we’re keeping under wraps for now.

Beat Max’s Monza lap time and claim that customisation item as a reward, plus some Compendium stickers if you make it to the top 30% on the leaderboard.

Race Scenario: 2016 Spanish Grand Prix (Aug 20 - 29)

Verstappen truly announced himself on the world stage in 2016, when after his sudden promotion from Torro Rosso to Red Bull, he won his first race in the big team at the very first attempt, becoming the youngest ever F1® race winner in the process.

Re-create this remarkable moment in F1® history with our latest race Scenario. Start from 4th and hunt down the Silver Arrows for victory to unlock some Red Bull Compendium stickers and Christian Horner as a Race Engineer in the F1® World mode.

Race Scenario: Dutch Grand Prix (Sep 3 - 12)

Unleash the Lion! The historic Zandvoort circuit is Max’s home race, so don your favourite orange shirt and jump into the sim for this Scenario race where you can win Max’s Orange Tribute Helmet.

Max has won every Dutch Grand Prix since the circuit came back onto the F1® calendar in 2021. He’s in a league of his own around this fast, sweeping seaside circuit.

We’re inviting you to take the wheel of the RB20 and extend Max’s record with a fourth Netherlands win in a row to unlock the helmet. Plus, Dutch Grand Prix Compendium stickers.

Challenge Career: Max Verstappen (Aug 27 - Sep 15)

Ahead of the final races in the calendar, you’ll have a chance to preview the results of the key races in the final stages of the real F1® season in our latest Challenge Career event.

Racing as Max once again, you’ll take on the Mexico, Brazil, Las Vegas, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi Grands Prix in pursuit of his fourth world title. Succeed, and you will earn a Double XP Token, 5x Critical Insight, and stickers for the Champions section of the Compendium.

Boost Your Fanzone By Predicting Real Race Results

Finally, as a new feature to this year’s game, you can put your F1® knowledge to the test by predicting results of upcoming races, backing your preferred driver and team on the battles taking place in the real world.

Jump into Fanzone ahead of each Grand Prix to vote on which driver you think will come out on top in the next race. The players who correctly predict the results will earn a boost of Fan Points that will increase your Fanzone’s standings in the fight for bragging rights in the Fanzone Championship. Plus, earn Fan Tokens to craft some all-important upgrades in the F1® World Garage.
