Sounds like a good deal, or is it?

Frequently travelling and being rarely at home makes desktops totally irrelevant to me. Anyway, I was looking to replace my primarily for work laptop (not really for gaming) for about USD$700, and suddenly came across this (for USD$700):

DELL
7th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-7300HQ Quad Core (6MB Cache, up to 3.5 GHz)
8GB, 2400MHz, DDR4 RAM
1TB 5400 rpm Hybrid Hard Drive with 8GB Cache
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 with 4GB GDDR5

Whaddya think? Since it is a tad more powerful than a working office laptop, can I hope this work laptop (as a welcomed bonus) to also somewhat moderately satisfy some gaming as well? (thinking of reinstalling BF4)

Seems pretty good to me for a laptop; try asking bf PC community? I believe they are pretty good for helping out with these kinda things

For those specs and that price not bad. Building a desktop with similar specs would run about the same more or less.
    Except this one is portable.

    Id say go for it
