Thanks community for overacting (like I said you were)

Big * you from a medic/support who does his job and was really looking forward to these worthwhile specs (seriously did anyone even try the CTE??)

~

Increasing to see the little note regarding cavalry. Simple solution would be to MAKE THE CLASS CUSTOMISABLE; RNGesus.

Take as you will

I would just let the 3 youtubers make bf2018 as they are the elected and unquestioned voice of the community.
Why do we even bother with threads and stuff about improvements when they speak for us?
Let's just compare our stats then lol.it's the only thing we have left

Blame our youtube overlords and whiny minority who didn't even have a chance to test those perks but started crying immidiately. Way to go people.

The whole CTE idea is a joke anyways. Unless you are a big Youtuber you're opinion means absolutely nothing.

I don't play BF1 anymore, but I can understand both sides - those who were excited about the new perks, and those who weren't.

About the cavalry: just LOL. They are perfectly fine with changing core features of the game one year after release, but for some reason they can't just make a class customizable like it should be. Sounds like they don't want to do it, rather than they cannot.

How is the community over reacting? Many people, myself included do not want any passive healing, resuppling or repairing of any degree (other than whats already in it) in the game or for a ww1 scout to become a mobile movement sensor. I maybe old fashion but i don't particularly like specialisations full stop, not the way they are implemented anyway. Take the exploives reduced damage spec. If you are going to do that, instead of the player just having an invisible forcefield round him to reduce damage, give them a crude flak jacket which conversly slows them down a little. Or the concealed medic perk, where instead of a puff of smoke appearing out of no where over a fallen soldier, the medic gets a smoke grendade they actually have to throw. Same results but just not by 'magic'. DICE and the 'community' keep banging on about team play and PTFO, yet add things in the game that goes against this.

I for one dont like the new specializations....I want to have to drop the med/ammo pack and not be like a wireless health/ammo charger (which will cause people to flock around me making me a bigger target)

Or the spotting spec/tion...don't we have enough spotting already??

    You want sniper add ons?:

1.increased/infinite accuracy via holding breath longer.
    2. Counter to the specialization that hides people from flair when not moving. Your flare will spot everyone (and for longer?)
    3. automatic accurate shot length displayed on screen for better bullet drop calculation (like a riffle with a periscope working simultaneously )

Dunno thinking off the top of my head but surely there are more less intrusive concepts than one proposed...

Wow so cavalry gets no specs because they still won't give him a customization window, they've even acknowledged how that leaves him out but they don't care.

    Half finished game.

Also the passive healing/resupply were literally fine since they only applied to the crates (which are terrible and generally underused) but it got torpedo'd by preemptive whining from Dorito-dust encrusted YouTube heroes. Hooray.

    Just pull the plug already

I want to try to understand. This game was conceived without specializations. Why change and affect the gameplay after a year?. Why they do not put effort into making free maps, more weapons, things that really encourage people to keep playing and not annoy the mood of the playerbase, which are what keeps the game alive.

The ADHD crowd needs more "progression" and "customization" to hold their attention. Solid gameplay just isn't enough these days.

Read about people complaining that the old Activision games in the new cod are too boring. No rewards. Those old games are still fun!
