No Mouse or Keyboard at all on main menu

Hi I built a brand new gaming PC and purchased Battlefield 4 as my first game. I got it all downloaded but when I launch the game it starts the main menu and I cant do anything as there is no mouse or keyboard input. I hit this problem today. Turning off the Origin In-Game setting fixed it.
