    You can get a refund through the online support chat... I did that for Star Wars Battlefront 2 and the whole process only took about 5 minutes.

    I'm equal parts surprised and disappointed that the server issues have yet to be resolved. I hope that the Oceanic Battlefield 1 community can recover from this once its all sorted out.


    if you refer to the previous page , player sneerfulmite22 has already tried the chat function and they told the player that there are no refunds. It would appear the staff on this chat line are blissfully ignorant of their obligations under Australian Consumer Law and dealing with Australian customers. They are supposed to be given training in our laws which was agreed to by EA back in April 2015, three years on, nothing has changed. Does EA want to cop a few million dollar fine from the ACCC because by their behaviour replicated here, they are certainly well on their way to get on the ACCC radar again. Valve took the same behaviour and received a $3 million dollar fine.

    Justice Edelman also took into account “Valve’s culture of compliance [which] was, and is, very poor”. Valve’s evidence was ‘disturbing’ to the Court because Valve ‘formed a view …that it was not subject to Australian law…and with the view that even if advice had been obtained that Valve was required to comply with the Australian law the advice might have been ignored”. He also noted that Valve had ‘contested liability on almost every imaginable point’.

    Looks like Asian servers are being affected now possibly because Oceania users jumping on and pushing up the pings. EA I have never seen such a shocking response from a company that relies on sales to make revenue. Honestly this is crap and the entire EA team should be embarassed by it.

    sad to see names I love playing with or against deciding to leave.

    Hopefully you'll decide against this decision because the players really make the game enjoyable and a week is really not that long as some one has already posted we had months of servers shutting down with BF2 .

    Hopefully when the servers do become stable I will see you on the mates or A1 servers.

    If not I'll see you in BF4

    My feedback posted to EA:
    The Oceania servers have now been crashing for about the last 8 days.

    So far any attempt to get a genuine response from anyone at EA has been rubbish. This is affect 1,000s of users, actually probably 10,000s or more, yet you seem incapable of responding to the issue or providing a meaningful solution.

    I cannot stress enough, this is not an individual gamers issues so the suggestion we load the latest graphics drivers or reinstall is complete rubbish and shows how little this is being taken seriously, or the lack of competency on your support desks.

    I have never come across such a complete lack of interest by a company who makes money out of the sales of it's product, and it would be fair to say I shall not be purchasing any new EA releases.

    I immediately request a refund of the purchase price of my game, you have failed to deliver a satisfactory service and product.
    Please contact me immediately to discuss.

    I do not honestly expect you to reply to this feedback as you have not responded to the 1000s of people who have raised the issue with you so far.

    Server owners deserve a refund for the down-time, not saying they'll get it, but they deserve it

    I have uninstalled BF1 now EA can shove it from this outage had this been US servers it would have been fixed in hours . I would urge everyone to boycott this game now and in future having ALL AU servers down for 8 days isn't a joke its pathetic !! and EA and Dice dont deserve your money

    what is Amazing about this is EAs total lack of communication via social media and even official press releases they deserve a massively bad write up in the media not sure why this has not happend yet

    Spoken to EA Help several times now, and every single chat has ended with something along the lines of "there don't appear to be any issues with our servers", and then being told that they'll put it up to their "specialist"...

    Really doesn't feel like anything is being done, EA. You're losing a lot trust from the OC community when you don't even give us updates on what's happening, or even acknowledge the problem exists.

    Definitely needs to be some sort of compensation for your OC players, especially server owners.

    Danish Yes, we are aware of this and all the EA games are not working as of now. Entire EA servers are in maintenance. There is no need to worry all everything will be back to normal once the maintenance is over.

    The player base is very concerned why an official announcement hasn't been made yetDanish I am a gamer too and from my view that's the issue however, we are not from the network tech team as they will be the one who will know precisely what's the matter.

    Danish You are correct and after this issue went viral, I think EA decided to get this sorted and previously FIFA, BF1, Madden, NHL servers however, as of now entire Ea servers are down as they decided to get this sorted.
    Danish Again, cant speculate what could be the matter from last 5 days. We do not have the data as Dice will not share those data with us :(

    I appreciate your response but an official announcement would seem more appropriate to at least put the players at ease that something is being done to restore the service, especially in Oceania region

    Danish 1000% agreed however, we think the servers which EA uses for the games are not from EA as they are 3rd party. Not sure entirely as these are crucial information. Dice should definitely compensate those players who are unable to play the game from last 7 days.

    I am not seeking compensation, I just want to see something from EA/Dice that the issue is being looked into. That is all that any of us want.

    Danish Yeah, that's what we are waiting as well/ compensation is not a resolution however, if they compensate our players then, they have a pretty good reason to cheer up our players and win the trust of those players who were not able to play the game.

    Seems like the US has only a couple servers up are they also affected. My PC reboots after joining a local server with other players on it. Last week after the update my PC would freeze on the start screen of BF1, this is shocking.
