Welsh Blade not available in main menu soldier loadouts

As the title says.
When I access my loadouts in the Soldier menu (Customize Soldier button) the Welsh Blade is not available in the list of melee weapons. The weapon can be selected while customizing the loadout during a match though.
However, if the weapon was selected for a loadout during a match and you later check your loadouts in the Soldier menu the melee weapon will switch to the default Combat Knife.
