BF4, great game for awhile!

What the heck has happened to BF4? When I first purchased this game it was just get out there and have some fun. Some where along the way DICE/EA made the decision to rank the online player community, at least this is my speculation. Now you are always going to have a group of gamers that just naturally adapt to PC and console game play. A good portion of this is due to age, introduction of platform interface and how quickly one responds to cause/effect scenarios. When the code is modified to adjust for recognition of the statistically "better" players verses the average players things start to go wrong. First of all everyone should be considered equals due to the simple fact all of us lightened our wallets to buy the game, this is the number one primary condition. Monetarily speaking we all are equal unless you want to discuss velocity of money and inflation then you fork off into another direction. My point is ranking killed this game. Who wants to continually be a responsive target for the “better” players, I know this is not for me. Let us take 'Locker' as a example. I think everyone would agree that the team assigned to the right, generally wins most of the games as the higher ranked players get assigned to that team on a regular basis. What was the point in this? No doubt, move players on to the next game as we see EA pushing BF5 I believe. Personally, it appears loyalty is a one way street to DICE and EA. They want your money then they define the rules of the game beyond the game play protocol. This will be my last DICE/EA game. I am older than a lot of you, yes my reaction time is much slower and I make no excuse nor ask for charity for this. I get a laugh out of the antics I see on here but the reduction in the effectiveness of my weapons due to my lower rank does not encourage me to fork out more coin. I know for a fact that my weapons have been reduced in accuracy and firepower simply by how my on screen opponent responds to shots received in a firefight. This comment will get hammered but who cares, until people realize that you buy the game you are the boss! Actually this philosophy applies to most anything, try it some time you might be surprised. Lack of this realization will always place people in a slave to corporate greed are perhaps in Sweden's case just socialist ideology and they cannot perceive individualism. BF4, great game for awhile!

I'm having a hard time following this. Are you saying that the higher ranked players get assigned to the "favorable " side of maps AND the lower ranked player weapons are weaker than someone of a higher rank? Because if so, you are extremely wrong on both accounts. And somehow loyalty and corporate greed was tossed into your post for...reasons? I guess.

You say "I make no excuse"

Except your entire post seems to be an excuse...

People are good at the game, it's been out for a long time

Maybe try tap fire, rather than full auto
All the reports I can see you're playing locker.. which has a high chance of either one sided matches

Looking at your Locker reports from the last 3 days its just about a 50/50 win ratio for the US /RUS teams so I have no idea where you are getting the US side always wins from.

The only thing unbalanced about Locker is if the Russian team (left side) knows what they are doing they can take control by getting down to C first by the first 5-10 players not stopping on either E or D.

This, my friend, is a battlefield game. If you cannot win a firefight, use vehicles. Drive a tank and start the firefight against infantries.

Why fight fire with fire when you have water?

Infantry only maps? Why fight head-on, instead of attacking from the side or rear.

I think . . that if I only ever played Locker I'd go Section Eight too .
    Hit The Sunshine Soldier!
A couple of rounds of Altai or Hammerhead ought to do the trick

Thank you for the kind words as I totally agree! I have started moving on to other maps and it is refreshing. Locker is crazy addictive but nuts. I appreciate you not kicking me in the jewels. Good day to you!
