RTX Kills my FPS even on medium. Read alot of articles with people saying the same. Want to give my two cents. RTX not worth it right now, need DLSS to hurry up to balance out the FPS

3DGURU has benchmarks, seems right for a 2080. Ti can only do 60FPS at 1080P.

Dice told they targeted 60 FPS in 1080p, which most gamers find as absolute minimum.

The new Nvidia GPUs are first gen hardware and that often means that it doesn't really work well at this point, and if anybody bought the GPU for ray-tracing, I feel sorry for you.

They are still very good GPU's, so you shouldn't feel bad for buying the RTX-series. You cannot get anything faster than the RTX-series, and the prices are ok-ish (except for the 2080TI).

First gen of almost any new technology in 3D-gaming is often a demonstration of technology, more than usable improvements. A couple of generations more from Nvidia and it will probably work.

I saw a benchmark in BF5 with the various RTX cards and DXR. It is a MAJOR perf hit. The only reasonable FR's you can get are at 1080 on low settings. Anything else just tanks.

Sad to say, its just not optimized enough yet.
