If BF2, 3, or 4 was remastered to be just as pretty as BFV with vaulting feature added, would you pay $60 for it?
Which Battlefield title would you buy if remastered?

Honestly, no. i rather have battlefield 3 or Bad Company 2 remastered.

I actually didn't enjoy BF4 too much tbh... especially since that horrible launch. There are still bugs in the gamestoo atm. I think it's best to move on and remaster BETTER BF games.

    not at all
as per your thread title edit,
    not at all either.
and none of them, i'd rather a new game entirely than a remaster, most of them don't hold up today.

Bf4 is the best of the BF´s in my opinion, and with that in mind, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ no, i wont spend anything on DICE anymore.

I would 110% buy a remaster of Bf3 or Bfbc2. Both these games had an X factor to them that’s hard to describe, they are epic.

Bf4 had more stuff and is a great game with heaps of content, but the magic of the previous two entries is missing. Maybe it’s just too soon for a remaster, servers are still full atm. Leveloution is cool though, I wish they really took this feature further, having a multitude of leveloution events per map.

Man Bf3 maps were all soo good, damn I really miss this game I wish I could go play it on console now. :/

The only BF I’d get in re-master form is 1942 or BF2, before the era of tiny linear console friendly maps.

No thanks, I would never buy a remaster. Remasters never work. Experience is never the same as back in the days... so no.

No, I don't like remasters of relatively new games. Even BC2 is too new.

BF2142 or BF2 remastered would be tempting.

    No.

And because of 10 characters, no again.

I’d download a patch for a remastered version....which will never happen. I’d probably dish out a little cash for a remastered Bad Company 2. I’d love to see 3&4 with updated graphics, not that they’ve aged that bad or anything but just to give them more polish. I think game mechanic wise they are both still solid games

I don't buy remastering. As PC gamer, I either get 1 of 2 types of games:

    1. A port from the console. Due to console limitations, the devs just ported the models/textures over 1:1. Basically a money grab by getting the lowest common denominator out to another market with the least effort.
    2. A "remastering", which attempts to address the above by updating assets, but often is either a game I'm not interested in buying again, or worse, still doesn't address the game's shortcomings.

In Battlefield's case, a remaster wouldn't address BF's single biggest issue; the Netcode. What good are new effects, models and textures if I still suffer from the same worthless netcode?

Think I've wasted enough money, How many chances does one company need to get it right.

It would never happen, EA and Dice seems to be moving to small to med maps. But I would go for it if it is true to it's roots.

I would pay for a bf3 remaster, but not $60. It should be $30.

I don’t think 4 would be remastered because it is still on new gen consoles ... bf2 and 3 are already backwards compatible on Xbox so the odds of a remaster are pretty low.. poor us playsationers lol.

I would buy bfbc2 tho without a doubt
