Stuttering After Update

Hey All,

Trying to figure out if a new performance issue I am having is because of the new patch or if its just me. After the patch (and an nVidia driver update) I am now getting stuttering in my BF5 gameplay. Once every 5-10 seconds the game will stutter for half a second to a full second.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Rig:
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
i7-5930K 3.50GHz
32GB DDR4 2400MHz
Rampage V Extreme
GTX 1080 Ti
1TB SSD

Go update your graphics drivers, Nivida had a new version out on the 13th. I had bad stuttering and after I applied the driver update it was considerably reduced, back to the level it was prepatch anyway.

Roll back your nvidia driver. No stutters with 418.81
Besides, there are no bfv fixes in these latest.

    Just try borderless mode.
For me it work with a 2080TI and just remeber to install ILS and turn off MSI Afertburner.

somehow my User.cfg also isn't being loaded in anymore it seems. this also causes a lot of "lost" fps on my side

Same here.. stuttering.. or it doesnt feels smooth.. like when Gsync not enabled. FPS seems a little bit worse too.

    Same here.

Hadn't played for a week but installed the latest Nvidia drivers yesterday.

    AMD 1800X with GTX1070 running at 1080p.

At first my frame rate had dropped from around 120 in game and 200 in menus down to between 30-60 in game and 70 in menus, gpu usage wasn't even at 50% and temps were low. I was running DX11 fine before so tried DX12, now frame rates are back up around where they were. But now getting stuttering and rubber banding every 30-60s.

Games not playable for me at the moment. Gona try roll back the Nvidia drivers.

My game started having random stutters after the previous patch. This is the only Battlefield game (started with 1942) that has gotten progressively worse instead of better for me post launch.

Same, then I discovered that this update patch wiped my nVidiaCP profile, so in my case Gsync was now off!

Edit: this is now by @DICE design, meaning my stuttering is actually caused because I can no longer use "prefer max performance" for my laptop battery when running bfv.exe :s

I can also confirm that the performance got worse after the patch.
    I'm still on 417.75

Just rolled back the drivers and that seems to have helped. Only played a quick game but definitely seemed back to how it was before.

    So I'm on 417.71 now.

    Same over here.

    I5-8600K with GTX 1070 TI.

Happend right after last BF V patch.

The other thing I noticed was a 100% CPU load. Before the update it never hit 100%.
Can't really say if the 100% has something to do with it, but anyway worth the mention.

Dice better get a fix out soon.

    UPDATE:

I tried bordereless and the stuttering went away, so did the CPU load.

So I guess DICE messed up the CPU utilization of the game.

try disabling fullscreen optimizations of the exe in task manager.
disable xbox game mode. disable geforce experience overlay. disable origin in game. toggle v-sycn or g-sync.

Boot windows in safe mode and monitor processes to test.

    reinstall nvidia driver using ddu.
