Probably noone as there's likely 2.5 people working on the game at this point.

The 2 people regularly throw with the halfling. Much to great irritation of the stunted individual.

Tanks themselves are mostly fine (other than some specialization/trees needing to be looked at). Real issue is the overpowered and as a result overabundance of assaults running around. Just fix the assault class (which one happen in this game) and the tanks will mostly be fine (although the top gunners seat shouldn't be a death sentence).
One of the main problems of most tanks is that their defense against nearby infantry is supposed to be done by the top gunner which is the most exposed and easy target to hit in the game (and it also did not really happen irl cause the real soldiers were not stupid enough to take such a suicidal role).
If the tanks had a protected 360 MG on the top then they would had been a lot more viable at objective play.

Yup. I will like to have a specialization for every tank, for protecting top gunner with extra armor around him. (maybe break able by a pf but with also repair option as well)

Even if you could only be disabled after a certain point of health is lost, so you don't get disabled from the first shot off an assault would change a lot.

This is for the dingleberries in BF1, since I'm in no way circumventing any filter... New daily diss for the people at my feet.

To make tanks a bit more survivable their armor would have to be increased while also taking a lot less explosive damage, and most of all assault class taking a direct nerf and you all know damn well DICE aren't going to tinker with their most popular OP class...

It would also be GD nice for the reticle to actually hit where you're aiming in third person...It was magnificent in BF1 hitting exactly where I was aiming MOST of the time, but it is complete crap in BFV.

Yeah, for as much as people complained about tanks in BF1 (which I agree with camping arty) they had tanks pretty well balanced. Best Battlefield for tank play imo. They were fearsome without being op in most situations but it seems like they didn't want that in this title... which just kinda adds to the feel of BF being downgraded in content.

I think it was better, but not great.

I didn't like them in Bf1 either, mainly because the crap spawn system was introduced. And they did away with fun, helpful secondaries that a friend could play with you within one tank. That was so much fun, instead of looking out of one of many windows ZzZz unless you were a landship, but even that was not as good as a 360 MG + perks. They also introduced a fixed exit/entrance, making getting out to repair practically useless. Then put in all this self/quick fix that upset so many infantry.

The bugs in BFV are really game breaking in tank v tank fights. I account now for a switch in my tank rounds. Really bad for a FPS.

Personally I enjoyed being a gunner in BF1, I felt like it was a make or break type of role where in BF4 it felt more like an arcade duck hunt haha. I dunno, I wish they would have combined both BF4 and BF1 mechanics. Have more options (like in 4) but have the tanks a bit more balanced out and have interesting effects (like BF1). I just can't get into the tanks in this game and I don't like the planes either. So much so that I didn't buy the game myself, but we can always go back and play 3, 4, 1 or even HL if we want.... for now.

I used to feel sorry for my house mate, who in the heavy BF1 tanks, starred out a pointless window most of the match, the land ship was not our thing either. One side with limit view once again and another slot for some random to keep messing things up.. He lost interest, I don't blame him.

He hoped this game would be different, but the top MG is rubbish. So another wasted BF game copy.

Yeah I should have clarified that more in the original post. Honestly at this point I'd be fine with every tank just getting a remote operated roof MG and losing hull MG's. Also the StuG needs a coaxial machine gun. IRL some StuG III's were fitted with them so it shouldn't be too much of a stretch to do the same for the StuG. Remote MG's aren't accurate but neither is anything else in this game really......

When I shoot at infantry with the tanks MG through things like walls or sandbags. They take quit a bit of fire power. They should have done that with the top MG. Given them a kinda guard up there. And the ability when they duck, to heal back fast.

Tanks need a buff, they are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to easy to get rid of. 1 or 2 assault players and any tank is rip. They dont spawn often enough and when they spawn and you are lucky to get into one, then you have fun for 1-2 mins until someone blows you up. And no i dont suck at them, been playing tanks since BF2 and never had such a bad experience playinng them until now.
I would say your experience may be the problem. I am not the most skilled player but have adapted to BFV pretty well. Tanks are just too weak to be used like they were back in BF4 etc. Unfortunately staying back slightly from the cap and covering the infantry is much more effective. Infantry don't fear tanks tanks now fear infantry and now every second in a tank is spent thinking about where the enemy is, how many squads have I got hunting me and how much longer can I fight before I need ammo. Gone are the days of parking at the flagpole as you and your gunner destroy everything that moves. By BF4 standards I am a camper, but in BFV I am in between the hill humpers 500m away and the n00bs rushing straight in forgetting their tank is actually a paper Tiger
Yay, someone who put some thought into his argument and doesn't think my score and game balance mean the same thing.  I'm certainly no ace tanker, but if I can roll a tank from one end of Panzerstorm or Hamada or Twisted Steel to the other, getting kills and helping to cap flags, then this overheated rhetoric about how weak tanks are is not convincing.  I've learned to keep an eye on the blue dots on my minimap, and I don't get ahead of them because that's when those guys with the PIATs will eat my lunch.  But I sure don't hang back on a hillside and snipe, how boring.  Tanks in BFV are actually closer to realistic performance than in previous games, and tankers who loved the thermal sights and reactive armor and sports car speed in BF4 are now unhappy, they think they have a right to go 70-1 every round.  As always, specialist players are the last people DICE should listen to because all they care about is their score, balance is not something that concerns them.

I can still go 70-1 in a tank in BFV and I'm not a specialist. But imho tanking is still no real fun in this game due to all the stupid design decisions.

I also wonder why are British tanks superior to all German ones except 38T? There should be some sort of balance. Because I can pick Archer and farm both armor and infantry but if I dare switching to STUG IV I'll get obliterated by almost anything. Why is that a thing?

I just went 77-0 and was bored out my mind. I think it's time I took some time out from this broken mess. Perhaps permanent.

BFV tanks are just not fun to use.
