I played on windows 10 v 1607 battlefield 3 - 100,120  fps, after when I passed on Win 10 v 1903 fps  fell down to 50 fps , it`s because v 1607 use DirectX  11, but v 1903  use DirectX 12 ,  it is necessary to optimization of a game under the new standard DirectX  12

how to return fps on the previous level?

i have it on 1080 ti

FIX FPS

Can you both try turning off future frame rendering if you're running DX12?

I don´t think that bf3 is using dx12 since until i know it doesn't support it and i didint found anything on the game settings related to future frame rendering.
Im really confused with this game since how you can see on these screenshots the gpu is always under 70% and cpu barely reaches 30% of usage even the gpu memory usage is low.

how to find the solution of this problem? or it is Windows or drivers. it can do both. a game old, perhaps is not supported any more on new bild. 1903.  So I felt enormous pity

Disable the Game Bar and Game DVR in Windows 10 settings and see if that helps. FPS KILLERS!

it seems we need some fix in anti-cheat program PnkBstrA.exe
problem perhaps of compatibility of old versions of antichit-programs in v1903 it is necessary to release new versions PnkBstrA.exe , and the software developer has to make it for new update 1903

I "upgraded" to 1903. BF3 went from 120ish fps to 80. Went back to 1809; 120+Fps came back.

    Hello Battlefield 3 gamers,
My name is Manuel and I work for NVIDIA.  It would really help us out tremendously if someone would be willing to provide us with GPUView trace logs from Battlefield 3 with Windows 10 May 2019 Update (build 1903).  Instructions are available from the FAQ below:

    https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3507

Once you have the URL to your trace log to share, please email it to [email protected] Mention in your email that the trace log is for the BF3 low FPS issue and include your basic system specs (CPU, GPU, monitor make and model).

    Thank you very much.

Hello everyone.  Thank you for the GPUView traces.  We were able to reproduce the performance regression with Windows 10 1903 and are working with Microsoft on this issue.

    Regards,
    Manuel Guzman
