Why ad spam is still a thing

Why bfv have a higher move speed than cod these day , did they swap developer ?

    The general movement of players is pure trash you can sprint forward and instantly walk 5mph backwards, adad spam even works on consoles, bunny hopping after every step you land and abnormal strafing speeds. Same problem was in BF1 till the took care of it but unfortunately Dice is busy making Christmas outfits with gas mask and whacky cosmetics... Gotta chase that fortnite success
    It was a different DICE that fixed BF4 and BF1. DICE LA

    Well that is why everybody is sliding these days, too, which should also not be a thing. I do expect wall-runs and double-jumps in coming updates. But certainly in the next BF. While I do think DRUNKKZ3 has had some good ideas, I think you can clearly see that he comes from a "competitive" FPS-scene, whatever that means.

    So? I have 200 kills with the halftracks and the rest are mostly gunner kills. I have never touched the planes and am currently wondering what I am going to do with this Week's ToW. Thing is, if you spend your working day with developing a game you might not want to spend your freetime on something that you do not like. Plus he is one of the gunplay designers not in charge of vehicles or something. Additionally you can have a valid opinion on things from both sides of an issue.

    To be fair, the DICE Sweden team is pretty much utterly changed since BF1, no?  And the DICE LA team, too, really?

    Was DICE LA team that fixed the netcode for BF4 the same DICE LA team that forced TTK2 into BF1 to "make it more like BF4"?

    Basically, DICE isn't what it used to be and no one team is 'better', especially these days.

    Apparently the enhanced sliding is the perfect counter to ADAD spam.  Maybe.

    I may had worded that poorly. What I meant to say is that the two studios have different philosophies/styles

    Honestly next week I'm just going to try and do it via Kamikaze for the lols. Also I think I sort of agree. I'm a terrible pilot, but I at least know what it should feel like, and BFV has terrible flight mechanics, whereas BF1 was great.

    Why ADAD spam is still a thing? Because of players complaining about 'sluggish' movement when soldiers move like they have some regard for the laws of physics. Apparently lots of players want soldiers to move like they weigh 0 Kg, so this is the result.

    Last thing I read from Dice Sweden about this issue is that they don't really see a problem and don't want to make player movement feel sluggish. It was Dice LA that fixed this problem in BF1 and I get the impression that is why Dice Sweden won't implement a similar fix for this and other things that Dice LA improved upon.

    Because "Movement speed while Aiming down sights" is a thing in the garbage specialisation tree. I am tired of this budget customisation system with near almost no depth its always the same thing. "Increase bullet speed" "increase movement speed while X" "lower recoil" "MORE LOWER RECOIL" like there is a reason why so many people complain about guns being laser beams in this battlefield and for the love of god bring back the old bullet drop system.

    sure but back in bf4 recons generally had far more options and close range bolt action weapon play has always had a high skill floor.

    consistency?
    On one hand they are so hung up on authenticity that we got tinted reflex sights and "authentic" mag sizes and on the other hand we see people zipping left and right like if it is some quake game.
    mixing faster than real movement with slower than real bullets = oxymoron

    Two reasons: The fast ADS spec on some weapons increasing ADS moving speed by 60% (compared to the +25% on bullpups and SMGs when using RDS).
    Second the side to side acceleration in general is sped up slightly. Together they give the impression of inhuman momentum.
