Hi guys.
So game worked a couple of days ago.
Now the game starts and i see the screen "weekly challenge reward, skip ahead in chapter six" no matter if i press 'continue' or 'Unlock now' the game crashes.
Sometimes it even crashes as soon as i see the picture...

I tried repair the game, reinstall the game, remove my OC from cpu and ram.
Nothing helps...

What a broken game...

Could you please post your hardware setup?

    CPU: ?
    GPU: ?
    RAM: ?

Which GPU driver version are you running?

    -

Did you check if there is a memory dump in your Battlefield 5 directory in "My Documents"?

    -

Have you ran a check in Windows to see if you do not have any corrupt files?:
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/929833/use-the-system-file-checker-tool-to-repair-missing-or-corrupted-system

We need more information if you want us to help you.

    CPU - i7-8700k
    GPU - RTX 2080
    RAM - 16GB

Newest gpu driver - 442.19, tried with older one aswell.

There is a memory dump, but no idea on how to open it.

Yes, no errors with corrupt files.

You can read the memory dump with:
    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/windbg-preview/9pgjgd53tn86?activetab=pivot:overviewtab

Are you using a user.cfg by any chance?
Do you use DX11 or DX12?

Maybe the save file is corrupt.

    - Disable Cloud storage in Origin settings

    - Rename the 'Battlefield V' folder located in 'Documents' to 'Battlefield V Backup'

    - Launch BFV and see if it works now

    It's fixed.

I read that some had issues without a pagefile, and i don't have that activated.
I activated and now I can start bfv... Very strange!

Most of the time corrupted PF will lead to this, how did the pagefile get changed to custom is strange. Usually this is automatically set during setup, the user that knows how to use those settings will adjust according to the amount of memory. Just like swap drive works in linux.
Nice to see things worked out in the end result
Looks like a bad memory, corrupted HD specially Pagefile.

You can check you memory-modules by an internal tool in Windows 10, just look at this link: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-check-your-pc-memory-problems-windows-10

The windows update ending xxxx60 caused similar results in some pc, This is the update that was suppose to fix the bugs in xxxx389, xxxx60 update replaced 389 with even more problems then the 389 patch, unfortunately when uninstalling 60, ms decide to embedded the 389 patch after the uninstall of xxxx60
