Does the release date seem a little odd?

I'm not really sure why, but virtually all games in the US are released on Tuesdays.

Battlefield 1 releases on Oct. 21st, which happens to be a Friday.

There's an "Early Enlister" edition you can buy for $20 extra that lets you play a few days earlier on the 18th, which is a Tuesday.

If the game was slated to be released on the 25th and the "early enlister" edition let you pay on the 18th, I'd understand, but as it is now, it seems pretty weird, almost shady... Unless there was a major event during WWI (which to my knowledge, was the Battle of Langemarck) that Dice/Ea/whoever is in charge of setting the release dates wants the game's launch to coincide with.

Anyone's thoughts on that? Hit me back, just to chat, truly yours, your biggest fan, this is Stan?

I think the release date was as close to perfect as it gets. Just as long as the game is ready. All the kinks are worked out and there is a smooth launch, the date is fine
