We got some sort of answer but the answer was not a good answer haha this post is for people with problems with the CPU SLI DX12 pretty much optimisation so let's keep this topic at the TOP
I'm running the ol FX 8350 oc'd to 4.6ghz and i'm getting a solid 60fps 90% of the time. I do however lock my fps to 60. All settings on ultra except for textures. GTX 970.
CPU usage is the bottle neck. either your gpu is at 100% or your CPU will be as the game will milk your machine for everything its worth. In saying that for those that are getting high CPU and lower GPU try going into NVIDIA control panel and make sure PhysX is rendered using your GPU, I have a 6790k and found this reduced my CPU usage by 10%. You can also make sure you have Vsync enabled and turn on dynamic graphics memory option in BF1 options.

Well I have 4790k and gtx 1080 that isn't bottleneck..

what screen are you rendering to ? is it 1440p @ 144hz. what are your FPS ? I doubt your drawing 200fps(game cap) during 64 player battle in which case something is slowing your beast of a rig down.
If you are only rendering on 1080p you should be super sampling to get the most out of your hardware

Using 1080p I have a SLI gtx 1080 how do I super sampling

Increase the render scale.
Also, I'm on a GTX 770 and get more fps with ultra than medium settings, CPU is at 100% like always.
Is it more optimized for amd cpus? For minimum requirement it's just a 6350 on amd's side, but 6600k for intel cpus. But UserBecnchmark indicates a 6600k is 71% faster than the fx 6350...
Yes a confirmation that they are working on cpu usage would be nice, same problem here i5 2500 (mobo wont alllow oc) stock. 980ti 16 gb ram win 7 64 home .
graphic settings from medium to ultra 1080-1440 dont make a difference, 100% cpu usage making it unplayable, especialy the bigger maps, beta ran smooth without any fps problems. All other games run perfect bf 4 , battlefront witcher 3 i dont realy feel it's worth upgrading a pc just for 1 game either.....
I'm running a slightly overclocked GTX 1080, I7-4790k @ 4.5GHz, 16GB RAM, 1440p, 144hz.
Running constantly over 100FPS on ultra settings, get some stuttering when loading maps in operations.
CPU usage going up to about 70% for BF1, which is rather high compared to any other game I've ever run.
Comments
Mine isnt even hitting 100%. I guess thats a good thing.
Nah, one i3 6100 run thsi game on high..so min recommend is trash talk.

And ******** like the rest. An i5 6600 vs an Fx6300? Ok...The i5 gives you 50% more FPS, but who cares?
I really hope that Dice patches that high Usage or get DX12 at least to do what it is suppost to.
It all depends on the actual frequency. My i7 3770k @ 4.5 GHz is doing just fine right now.

my pc has become an oven
