Bad Company 2 Gold Rush , what made it great.

after playing some backwards compatible Bad Company 2 Rush games, i learned why Rush was so great in Bad Company .

it was a new game mode the maps were designed for Rush , and then adapted for conquest.
the MCOMs could be destroyed with a massive amount of explosives or for the building to collapse on it, if it was in a building.

but what really made Rush great was that in Bad Company at the end of a game round, you never saw yours or anyone else Kill death , all you saw was the end of the round score, from who played the objective score the best.

so players would play rush and have fun with out worrying about their KD going back from rushing in and getting killed all the time when trying to arm that objective.

what rush missed in bad company 2 that was added in BF3 was you could know the ticket count before you spawned in.

I hope if there is a Bad Company 3 that this is remembered.

design the maps for rush, then adapt for conquest.
make the mcom able to be destroyed from massive amounts of explosives, or from the building collapse .
and no KD reporting at the end of the round for rush maps, only the points score.
and make it to were you know the ticket count before you spawn in.

ps: also what mad Bad Company great was at that time there was not any forums like this, so players did not give feed back as easy and stuff did not get nerfed like it did in BF3 , BF4 and every battlefield since.

    Completely agree. I finally got into a decent game of Rush earlier today and wow it bought back good memories. Rush sucks on Battlefield 1 and it sucked on BF4 also. They need to either make some changes OR just give us a BC3 !

    regards to KD only you saw your end of round KD it did not show on the scoreboard, but others could see it on the stats web page.

    Still wonder why EA just doesn't remaster BFBC2 (like that other game!) Maybe a few more maps................

    yes a remaster would be great, but maybe they will do a bad company 3

    no planes is the single biggest reason why bad company was so good imo. in turn, the maps were designed not to cater for planes and were vastly superior for the most part.

    you forgot the annoying choppers that were hard to take down.
