I'm looking for some help or direction from someone who may know what I'm doing wrong, or not doing...

I picked up a set of headphones, went to mcomm station and got the morse code sequence (I have a .wav file but don't know how to include it here).

I used audacity to help me write it out and got the following:
    - . - . / - - - / - - / . - - . / . - . / - - - / - - / . . / . . . / . / - . . / . - . - . - / - - / . . - / . . . / - / . - / - . - . / - - . - / . . - / . . / . - . / . / - . . . - - / - . - . - . - - . - . - . - / . - - / . . / . - . . . - . . / - - . . . . . . . . / - . . . - . - - - / . - - . / - - - / . . - . / . . - . / . . / . . - . / - . . . / . - . . . - / - . - - / - - - / . - . / . . / - . / - . - . / - - - / . - . / . - . /. / - . - . - / . - . . - - - / - . - . / . - / - /. . / - - - / - . / . - . - . - / - - . / - - - / . . . / - / . - . / . - / . . / - - . / . . . . / - / - / - - -

I used http://morsecode.scphillips.com/translator.html to translate it to this:
TETE TTT TT ETTE ETE TTT TT EE EEE E TEE ETETET TT EET EEE T ET TETE TTET EET EE ETE E TEEETT TETETETTETETET ETT EE ETEEETEE TTEEEEEEEE TEEETETTT ETTE TTT EETE EETE EE EETE TEEE ETEEET TETT TTT ETE EE TE TETE TTT ETE ETE E TETET ETEETTT TETE ET T EE TTT TE ETETET TTE TTT EEE T ETE ET EE TTE EEEE T T TTT

So I tried converting T's to B's and E's to A's and used a Baconian Cypher and ended up with this:
VZPQE KR NN E JD VNKYREAIX NZC BI I C V JKTM KY UTA

From here I can't get anything other than gobbledegook...

Any help or direction is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

It kinda looks like this is the first message but isn't long enough to get your location. You only use the Baconian Cypher at stage 6 are you there?

Otherwise try and get a long wav file and remove spaces from your output before translating.

I'm only on the first phase. The Baconian Cypher was a shot in the dark because I thought my message looked similar to the ones received later on. I used a 55 second wav file, I'll try longer and remove all spaces and see what message I get. Thanks for help! I'll report back when I get somewhere...

Ya the translator website you are using recognizes spaces as breaks so it confuses it with spaces and / so just stick to / and remove all spaces.

    Ya unfortunately it seems like you got it recording just in the middle of the message and then cuts off right after the beginning of the re-transmission, so it reads like this;

    "C O M P R O M I S E D . M U S T A C Q U I R E # # W I # # # P O F F I F B # Y O R I N C O R R E <CT> # C A T I O N . G O S T R A I G H T T O"

You have some messy stuff in the middle it would seem but hopefully it works out better the second try.

I'm using http://morsecode.scphillips.com/translator.html to translate, still trying to figure out what I'm doing. I think part of the issue may be that I'm including some small background noise as dots. I'll keep trying and hopefully I can make some headway. Thanks again!

Huh? just load a new server, set serversettings to 0 players and refresh the list.. just keep joining empty ones... for me it was really fast on Domination Monte grappa, and Ballroom Blitz Conquest.. take a horse and run over to the known spots.. It usually took me 3 mins to find a headphone..

It takes quite some time before the pigeon appears. Longest I had to wait was 3 to 4 minutes. Unfortunately, I've had the pigeon fly over me 3 times allready without getting the dog tag. The music doesn't play, meaning the quest stage doesn't complete...

You are absolutely positive that you are on the final stages and the lights on the MCOM are cyan?

The pigeon comes from the left (if facing out from the balcony) as posted elsewhere pretty much bang on two minutes in. You can face to the left to see him coming. If you aren't lined up perfectly you will hear it swoop by coo'ing but no sound effect of the dog tag.

Stick a bit to the right side (if facing out) and don't go right to the railings edge keep it back a bit and you should be good.

Can you confirm the windmill you are on with a screenshot, just in case it happens to be incorrect?

Sure a shot of your view from up there and one from the ground up to the balcony. I'm pretty sure there is only the one that makes sense on Giants Shadow but I never really looked for any others.

EDIT 2: Are you sure that is the whole morse code? I try to decipher it but it seems to be missing something, this is what I got and got no results.

The windmill should be the one behind German spawn, I did it wrong the first time, went to the first two down the road. And you have to wait, maybe 1 or 2 minutes? Don't remember but I do remember wating quiet a long time.
