You know, after some days i can say my gameplay didn't suffer at all. Over distance i spot like usually,if the guy say " blabla spot" i gun him down. On the other hand flying feels like a gimmick both from air and from the ground.

Let's be clear though,i WANT the old spotting back.

This confuse me for the 1st few games, but in my last few games on conquest, as a sniper playing agressively, I got 30-40 kills. And im not even that good of a sniper.

This is not some random bug; this deals with core gameplay and is visible immediately upon spawning. It makes the game borderline unplayable. That is not a minor issue.

And when they find the lines of code that caused this bug, They will rectify it.

    #Logic.

Has DICE officially acknowledged the transparency issue...? If so, where is the link ..?

This thread wouldn't be so long, or with worried Customers, if we knew what was going on. Communication is the key and you are trying to dismiss this, not help with this issue. Many here do not know what is going on, and are asking for answers. Where are they...?

Obviously you didnt bother to read previous posts in the thread. It hs been stated many times that its an unintentional bug. I personally like it as it means less run n gun twitch shooting at everything that moves. It's especially good as a nerd to pilots who just spot and make a trading runs, padding their k/d ratio with little to worry about as far as them dying. Makes it a little fairer to infantry imo...

    So agree with this.
It's the only one bug they shouldn't fix.

I've got used to it and as it's actually OK against infantry. Yes, you do occasionally blast a friendly at mid/long range but with no FF it's no real biggy. However trying to work out if that is a friendly tank or plane is nigh on impossible withougt shooting it first.

Someone said it helps the long range snipers, the snipers it helps the most are the ones closer to the actual game not needing to worry so much about the long range ones.

I have actually gotten quite good at telling if it is a friendly or not, the greatest giveaway is if you can spot it or not, because a minority spots.

I don't think it's that bad tbh. Only at range which just handicaps the campers and planes. You can still use the mini map

so i haven't played much since the update, what little i did play seemed like hardcore.
Was in a match on Friday, saw a bomber, blasted him to the stone age only to see the kill feed as a TK....you literally cannot see anything with tags at more than 25 meters, forget about airplanes.

    RIP Fshakeey

I'm not sure if this has been said but it makes being a medic, IMO, a bit more difficult.

Don't tell us why. Shall we guess what is going on in your mind?

Either that, or it makes you shoot at everything that moves, which has been more my experience. I've had more teammates accidentally shoot at me since the update.

Also, it makes the quick unspot specialisation virtually worthless.

    Which doesn't always work.

I thought it was a nice idea to prevent snipers from camping from the map borders. But it works too much and I have difficulty in recognizing an enemy from even short distances.
I like the idea, but it should work only for campers.

"I thought it was a nice idea to prevent snipers from camping from the map borders"

This only affects the snipers that suck, for me it's a HUGE advantage. A player might spot me... but the rest of their teammates can hardly see the icon above my head... virtually making the spotting feature useless... If anything this bug helps long range snipers as a lot of players rely on the spotting feature to track enemy sniper movement and pin them down.
