this thread needs the off topic replies deleted.
Not closed, because that will suit just those who disagree with people who see cheating.

Ever since the October patch I've heard DICE made changes that make it very hard to create external cheats for BF1. External cheats are the only type of cheat which can be hidden while recording and streaming gameplay video. I can see how this development could suddenly become a problem for some people.

I'm convinced that some guy here with the confusing name to type is a hacker. Straw-man arguments and off-topic derailments.

Every player in the first year of playing online, has already heard and or knows something about the cheaters.

And almost everyone who has been playing for several years, at least once, out of curiosity, has tried some cheat.

That, do not turn them into cheaters.

The funny thing is that players who have been playing for almost ten years, or more, say they do not know anything about cheats ...

    ???

And even more curious is that a competitive player, says he does not know anything about cheats, being that to compete, you must know the matter to be able to denounce possible irregular moves during a tournament.

    On what planet were they?
Or what do they try to hide?
Why do they deny that there are cheaters?

I've honestly never cheated or downloaded a cheat.. A friend downloaded a aimbot and wallhack for The Specialists half life MOD back in like 2004 lol, so dirty . Cheaters are the worst.

That's what I mean, everyone knows something about cheaters.
Imagine, that happened to you in 2004, 13 years have passed ...

How many more players are there currently?

The truth, I ignore it, some have stopped playing for various reasons, but statistics indicate that the number of players has increased worldwide.

And also the cheaters, it's a matter of reading the news on eSports and getting informed.
Why refuse to see reality. This also does not mean that most players cheat, but a significant percentage in each game. Maybe in some the percentage is higher and in others less.

Now, something I've never understood, is why, there have always been players who try to deny this reality. Always, in each community, there are a few who are dedicated to denying this situation. Even in this case, when it is a benefit for all that BF1 has better AC. Really, I can not understand, because some are eager to boycott an advance against the cheaters.

What I can know is that competitive gamers are not interested at all in these matters, they are dedicated to compete in their world, eSports, which has nothing to do with the casual player or the multiplayer. They do not even see the forums, they are in another reality or level.

It is us, the common players that we are most affected by cheaters.

Some claim because there are many snipers in a game, and they ask that their number be limited, because it bothers them. Perhaps the cheaters are not a nuisance?

I have been playing bf since 1942 and have never thought about downloading a cheat. I never even thought about cheaters until bf1. I am sure there were cheaters in previous bf games but it was never like bf1. For one thing we had control over servers to deal with them.

    Exactly my feeling.
We all heard of them, but since a year i found out they are a huge problem who are destroying my favourite way of game.. with a pc...

I am pretty sure this is naming and shaming.

Been playing online since the dial up days. Played day of defeat in its beta stage, was Blue yonder ( a UK ISP ) game moderator too and I've never once cheated, wanted to cheat or played along side a cheat. Moderation in gamee back then was more about making sure people weren't harassed in the servers and that rules were being met, it wasn't so much about cheating.

This eosphorosrcon guy is the biggest talker of rot I've seen on these boards. He just vomits his opinion on to the board with no substance behind it, guised as some informed fact. He's, an outright fake professing to be some expert when he's obviously just a charlatan.

this is correct and internal cheats are difficult to hide , not impossible but they take a lot more programming, hence only "paid for" subscription cheats appear to be working atm which is good news
