Aslong as EA keeps some servers running (i give servers 12 months after bfv) ill still jump onto bf1 every now and again.
as for bfv,no i wont be purchasing,Im currently looking at games from other developers to get my shooter fix.

for me personaly Dice are no longer the for the gamers/community type developers that i used to think they were when i saw that Dice logo pop up on my tv screen,it has all been soured since EA stuck Dice into their backpocket.

Its now all about using shady business practices and psychological ingame hooks taken straight out of the slot machine/casino handbook to get you addicted to purchasing their MTs,and i expect those MTs to be much more intrusive in bfv and will have a whole host of new limited time events and short time windows to obtain items all wrapped up and disguised as new game features in order to psychologicaly hook you into spending more cash.

    Fudge BFV.

Battlefield 1 will remain the greatest game in the franchise.

WRONG!!! battlefield 4 is the greatest fps off all time!!!!!

    Nope.
CS 1.6 is and will always be.

Casual... BF4 is the best fps period.

I am assuming BFV will be no different than any other BF I have played. Once I get into the current BF game I usually don't go back to the previous one or older ones for that matter. When I do go back I just don't enjoy them as much as I do the latest version.

I can relate to that, I am sure that you would be able to find servers filled up with people even though the game is antique now.

Yep, actually played it couple a days ago at a gaming central (pay 2 play). Was still amazing, the skill involved and willingness to win is truly stunning.

And I won't stop asking for more content in BF1. There's still a lot to cover where WWI is concerned.

Whatever fans approve of in BFV should be applied to BF1. Radical change or not, DICE can't just leave such a unique title to rot.

Its called the end of a lifecycle for a game.... I´m looking forward to see if BF1 can maintain a decent number of players in 1-2 years (like BF4) or if the playercount drops to Hardline-levels...

Is that really a mystery to you? BF1 has a crap RSP, it will go down hard.

BF1 is nowhere near as popular as BF4 was at this point in the games life cycle, so once the new one comes out it'll probably be dead. Now, I'm speaking as an Australian and BF1 is already dead late at night here (BF4 had a couple of active servers through all hours of the night 2 years in). I'm sure the EU and US will maintain active servers in BF1 for years, though, but there's no way we will.

I know the Oceanic servers for BF1 are still pretty awful, but I do remember BF4 having about 55-60,000 players about two or so years after it's release, and BF1 currently seems to have a similar player count, though we can see that more players have been playing it recently, likely due to the Road to BF V rewards.

Still, the not-exactly-fantastic RSP will not be great for the game's long term player base after BF V comes out. I do hope that this game maintains a stable playerbase, because I'd rather play BF1 than BF4.

When it was 10 vs 10 and 9 go left and die within 20 seconds you better be camping. I got all but 1 of them, one of my best CS memories and it was a loss.

BF1 will probably my last BF now I saw the demo of BF 5.
I just do not like the way they go with the series. Perhaps I get to old to like arcade style.
It will atttract lots of new players though.

Well I'll play BF5, but if WW3 can live up to any expectations I'll be in that.
