As title says - What DDR4 RAM speed would you recommend as Enough for 8700k? Does it really make any difference for Battlefield 1 or V higher then 3200 or even 3600Mhz?
RAM is very tricky. It's also very important to multiplayer in bf. Not sure if the above is taken from BF mp or not but as you can see you can 10 fps on your minimum frames which is where the largest and most important benefits come in. Keep in mind this though (and this is super important) something like 3600MHZ ram with tight secondary/tertiary timings can beat 4266Mhz at looser timings. Having said that it may still be of benefit to get a higher frequency kit and then downclock it with tight timings. Again I can emphasize enough how important secondary and tertiary timings are. With my ASUS Maximus board it came with a memory preset (Raja's) that gave me significant gains. I could tweak further but RAM tweaking is a real time consuming process unless you've done it a lot.
You'll also want to be careful testing your RAM as if you set things too tight you could corrupt your windows install and have to reinstall.
A general rule of thumb is that everything up until 3000-3200mhz helps a lot, then diminishing returns set in and extra speed gives less and less extra fps/lower minimum fps.
After a while, the gain from faster memory depends on your money situation and what you can spend on faster memory would be better spent on a faster graphics card, CPU, cooling etc. 3200mhz is often considered a sweet-spot.

Those speeds are not going to bottleneck a 8700k anytime soon. youre more than good.

Almost no diffrence between 2400mhz vs 3200mhz ..so investing in 4000mhz cl17 will almost make no diffrence
