I hope this is not the "thank you" compensation Braddock 512 was talking about for server Issue, we had back in April.

I spoke to EA support in a chat and they said it is a known issue being worked on.

Whilst annoying, game was mostly playable the last few days despite the packet loss. Fired up just now and it's worse than it has been. Constant 70%+ packet loss and the game is unplayable. BF V you say? Prove you can keep the current version running first...

If BF1 is an example of how the servers that BF5 use, will be treated (likely?), i'm out. Its a shame, game looks pretty good. 1942 was where i started.

Edited - my grammar is crap

Hehe yeah what ever happened to our compensation from back then Braddock? Hopefully we dont get to 36 pages of complaints before they do something about it this time.

Not fixed! There's still 15-20% packet loss on servers.

So, will the BFV beta have massive packet loss? This stupidity might cost you thousands of lost sales EA...

I am in Tasmania and for weeks now i have had the bandwidth issue, can play on any server in another region but not OCE.
How can i have a bandwidth issue when my bandwidth is nbn and fast, and can play bf4 on OCE and many many other games on OCE without faulter.
I assume that this paket loss issue is all tied up with my issue,i play on a 130+ ms server atm and its just doable but this is not what we all played for is it now.
    Hmmmmmm.

Can't make up my mind whether to shake my head at the poor asset management at Dice/EA or the total lack of comms to yet another region wide issue going on for 3 days.
What happened to preventing this kind of issue and being completely transparent and giving constant updates or progress to fix the issue?
I said it last time and I'll say it again, I work in digital comms and if this were happening in our region, we'd issue a call code and the first thing that happens is inform the stakeholders. And if it happened a second time, there'd be jobs on the line. We are taking hours at most, not days or weeks.
I've had these and pulled all nighters until everything was back to normal. It makes me sick to experience something so far removed from the professionalism expected in my organisation, when I'm the client.
    This is appalling.
Someone put in a ticket in a thread with more than 10 people voicing the same complaint and the response was just to send the basic troubleshooting faq link.
Surely it's obvious when something this widespread occurs yet the front line staff don't even know about it or have the tools to even detect it by the look of things, and worse, don't take complaints seriously until they get completely flooded with comments and then don't issue any forum-wide letting anyone know.
Then weeks later tell us how they should have handled it and will handle it next time, and then the next time it happens, they repeat the process.

All this talk of poor server performance and packet loss and no one ever mentions the provider i3d.net.
A lot of times the blame gets put on the gamers own equipment or local infrastructure even though they don't have issues with other MP games but it doesn't take much to check reviews of i3d's service, I have no idea why EA even uses them??

FYI EA are saying it's going to take "a while to fix" and to send complaints in to https://help.ea.com/en-in/help/faq/what-do-i-do-if-i-have-a-complaint/

Abhishek: I need to consult specialist as no new update is found. Would you mind waiting couple of moments.
    you: no problems
    Abhishek: Thank you.
Abhishek: I have forwarded issue to specialist and they are taking a look for updates as we chat.
Abhishek: I sincerely apologize for the delay in response from specialist.
    .................
Abhishek: I asked specialist and they said that there is no information about the update as of now and have requested you to give feedback for the game.
Abhishek: Follow link to do so https://help.ea.com/en-in/help/faq/what-do-i-do-if-i-have-a-complaint/
Abhishek: Specialist said that issue is not resolved as of now and might take a while to get it fixed.

    mentions the provider i3d.net.

It's more the lack of communication on the issue from EA, if they just kept us updated advising it's been looked into i'd be happier.

I don't see why attention should be diverted here to a 3rd party. If my hosting or anything similar dies, my clients come to me. It's 100% my problem. Not the 3rd party providers. i will go after that provider for compensation yes, but firstI compensate my clients as I made the choice to put them on that infrastructure. I find that argument naive at best and frankly i think it's blame shifting.

on avg of about 75% packetloss over the last week on BF1 OCE servers. No crashing just a ton of packetloss. I wasn't getting it at the start like the rest of the community but 2 days later i can hardly walk forwards on any OCE BF1 server Dice Aussie Gaming it doesn't matter. This has been one crappy ride for the RSP's. Played on Asia and USA servers with no packetloss what so ever. I wonder what i3d do during the day? Do they ever monitor the servers or routing or connection issues at all? And just for the record i am with one of the best ISP's in Australia www.aussiebroadband.com.au they assure me the packetloss has nothing to do with them or i would be seeing it on BFV normal browsing and other games.
