If it is not included at launch, I hope they add the Krag-Jørgensen rifle.

I'm gonna go with a no. Besides bolt actions being the worst they've ever been in this title it wasn't in bf1 at all and that's the game it should've been in

From what I have seen Bolt actions are fine not to mention they can be in both titles. The Krag was used by second line units in WW2.

"Fine" as in "a dog in a burning house drinking coffee-type" of way?

As in I got several kills in row completely fine.

Not in an exchange of fire I bet.

The problem was never about shooting unaware and immobile players from a mid to long range.

The Welrod Mk I or II; a British bolt action, magazine fed, suppressed pistol. Devised during World War II for use by irregular forces and resistance groups. Approximately 2,800 were made and was nicknamed the “bicycle pump” by those who used it.

    .
The DeLisle "commando" carbine; it was a British firearm used during World War II that was designed with an integrated suppressor. Combined with its use of subsonic ammunition, made it extremely quiet in action, possibly one of the quietest firearms ever made. Few were manufactured as their use was limited to specialist military units.

In the new dev talks video it looks like there is a De Lisle carbine laying on a crate in one of their video clips.

    @bran1986 Oew, nice! :)

Another interesting weapon would be the Sedgley OSS .38; it's a single shot, break action, smoothbore .38 Special pistol mounted on the back of a cowhide glove. The gun would be usually worn along with a long-sleeved coat to hide the weapon until it was used. Due to its appearance, it was commonly nicknamed "Glove Pistol" or "Glove Gun". It was meant as a covert operations and assassination weapon in the Pacific Theater. Also seen in 'Inglourious Basterds'.

Imagine BFV would do a dual wield with these... :D:#

I had very few kills at long range without them noticing. The fact is I knew how to use my weapon and aim.

The fact we are all going to forgotten weapons for extra ideas is funny to me.

Seems like we all want BFV weapons to be something special to us. :)

Another 'special weapon for that matter would be the High Standard HDM; a semiautomatic pistol equipped with an integral silencer. Based on the High Standard HD model target pistol, it was adopted by the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) during World War II (And later by the CIA). OSS head Bill Donovan demonstrated the pistol to President Franklin Roosevelt inside the Oval Office. Because of legal concerns during wartime, full-metal-jacketed .22 LR rounds were developed for this pistol. A total of 2,600 HDMs were manufactured.

"Stinger" 30 cal machine gun. Famously used by Medal of Honor recipient Tony Stein. He salvaged the weapon from a crashed bomber and modified it for his own use, adding a stock and sights from a rifle.

Whoa! That's a beast, never heard of that story before; unbelievable! B)

A great article about it can be found here; "Marine Sgt. Mel Grevich made up six Stingers before the invasion of Iwo Jima. Modifications included the addition of a Garand buttstock, a BAR bipod, a BAR rear sight and an improvised trigger. The guns were carried ashore by men of the 28th Marines."

Everyone is getting excited for their raifu's without considering that Battlefront 2, which uses essentially the same "game as a service" model, has not received a single new weapon since its release.

Or you could get off this thread unless you want to actually give a meaningful suggestion?
