    BF4/BF1 spotting was bad mmkay.

People just need to get glasses.

Plus anything to nerf aircraft is a good thing.

Idk if this got said but I'm guessing it's to limit it to reconsider being the spotters Wich I feel like if the main vibe this year, enforcing classes to play they're part instead of cod bum rushing everywhere with any class

haha give this man a beer, so glad 3d spotting is gone, and love that i can now spot an area rather then individual enemies.

Thank you DICE, that you removed 3D spotting.

I don't have any problems playing infantry anymore. It's not as easy as in BF, but after a while you get used to it imo.
So I like that 3D spotting is gone.
I still have a major problem seeing anything on the ground when flying.

Recon should still have 3d spotting through scope not the stupid spotting scope. A sniper does not pull out a spotting scope to mark targets and then go back to his rifle to shoot. He would have a spotter do that or just mark targets with his own scope. The whole point of the recon class is to mark targets.

Well a sniper usually has a spotter by his side, so I think switching to spotting gear is okay.

Pretty much the same for me. The positives of removal outweigh the negatives in my opinion.

    Hallelujah! ;-)

I like the new spotting system except maybe tanks and planes should keep there spot for a bit longer.
Keep sporning in and getting blasted by close tanks in the first few seconds but maybe that's because the tiger colour is exactly the same as the streets in rotordam, pretty sure the German's didn't match tank colours to rotordam pavements.

I'm glad its gone on the whole, but it would be nice if you could spot for just your squad if they were within a certain proximity and for a limited range.

No 3D spotting has completely changed this game for the better
Absolutely, agree with that statement, another universe to play battlefield at the moment. Feels more tactical to me, while playing the game with my squamates.

Glad it's gone and I hope it never returns!
Finally you need to actually have skill to see your enemies, smoke is now actually useful and flanking is a viable tactic again.

If they bring back spotting like BF1 I will quit playing.

I am SOOOOO happy that we dont have this spotting. Finally legal wallhack has gone, finally I can make ambush enemies from the trees because enemy cant spam Q and spot me when I was invisible for him. Finally no spotting, bravo, bravo, bravo !!!
Start use your eyes instead to Q wallhack ;]

I thought I'd miss spotting, but the sheer amount of flanking opportunities are unbelievable, I never realised just how much spotting impacted on my game.
I'm surprised but I vastly prefer playing without it.

Same here.... But... after 10 hours of BFV beta... It was fun and challenge without spotting.

At least, my R1 button will not wear out! :D:D:D:D

I defended the spoting but I'm not missing, the visibility is better than BF1.

I don't miss spotting, game feels more "dangerous".

Interesting, I feel like I can see less than in bf1 :P Maybe just have to get use to.
