Seriously, what have the Devs been doing for the last 2 months?

TTD makes the game almost unplayable.

Tank/panzerfaust imbalance is laughable.

Aside from dogfighting fighter planes are useless, ground targets are near impossible to hit

It seems the best way to play is camp in one spot near a flag, hide the best you can and wait for the enemy

oh ok you've only played BF1, ok so the TTD is generally fine, its more hardcore and has a much higher skill ceiling, except for the odd glitch where it all stacks up and is an instant kill

tank players need to learn to be smart, if you go charging into enemies you will die, take things slow and always try and face your enemies, rear amour is very weak

normal planes are weak against the ground yes but their role is to destroy other planes, the bombers are very OP especially when they fly over objectives and get like 10-15 kills, again you need a good pilot

the best thing to do is run with your squad and not try to be a lone hero - you are not, solo players dont stand a chance, just stick together and its easy

the game has a very high skill ceiling compared to the extremely simple and casual friendly BF1

i thought devs were working on the bug that makes it seem like you die in one shot due to the hits stacking up?, TTD is how long it takes a player to die right? if so then its fine, 2-3 hits its good

I don't think you fully understand the concepts, TTK is outgoing, TTD is incoming, if it all is bundled those 2-3 hits hit as 1, so no, not fine.

    THIS.

If TTK is fine, TTD is not necessarily fine. And vice versa. Unfortunately we forum vets have to always explain these concepts to noobs over and over.

So TTD being so bad has nothing to do with TTK being too fast for the netcode to cope with?

No, because we've had even faster TTK in previous titles and we didn't have this issue. We had TTD problems but not to this extent and Dice showed they can fix them in the past. If @mischkag were still around he'd probably say they have a fix for a future patch.

Plenty of bundled hits thrown into one packet is still happening and this issue has never been sorted since bf4.
Then put that together with a lower ttd and it’s ridiculous.
Other games mange a lower ttd just fine but dices netcode can not support this.
Only thing to do is increase or prolong ttd

Wrong. It was sorted out in BF4 in a late 2015 patch. The one frame deaths were not even an issue of this magnitude back then. And they were never more than an occasional annoyance in BF1 if you played on an OOR server.

Oh yes there where issues. They even nerfed all ARs in BF4 to kill in 5 bullets instead of 4 for just that reason.

Bullets bundled into single packets has never been sorted out.
It’s more of an issue in this game due to lower ttd

I continue to play bf4 and it still has one bullet deaths to this day!
