Weekly BF

A small list of my concerns with BFV (that barely anyone talks about)

1) Movement spam (ADAD spam, crouch spam, jump spam): I thought these were WW2 soldiers, not futuristic super soldiers dodging bullets like Neo in the Matrix. Also, the fact certain guns have zero accuracy penalty (mainly Assualt DMRs are the main culprit) when doin these crazy manoeuvres, doesn't help.

2) Wall Banging: The art of showing none or a few pixels of your character through cover. Basically impossible to hit these people, and they have zero counter. Yes, cover can block the body, but your head should then be a juicy target. So many times, it isn't, due to this problem.

3) Invisible players: Either they only pop into existence after they've killed you, or even on the killcam, they are invisible. This is due to latency, and is squarely the problem causes by bad servers. I didn't realise we were still using dial up internet lol.

Dice, IMO, should prioritize these problems, becuase they are universal problems that ruin this game. Everyone would benefit from these problems being fixed. Like if you agree.

There's actually a lot of complaints about the first 2. Particularly the action men and their recoil-less no glint sniper rifles.

Well I wouldn't be surprised if it just get buried by the other threads where they complain about a change they asked for lol.

You forgot the greatest crime in BF history. Positioning yourself on the other side of a wall, aiming down your sights and waiting to ambush a squad, only to fire and have all your bullets hit an imaginary wall. Only to then waste your position and have your opponents, shoot you without having to negate this imaginary wall. The only way to protect yourself against this ordeal is to remember that there is no Spoon and in order to bend your shoots behind the wall you have to remember that there is no wall... bla... bla... bla... something... something... matrix.

It's pathetic that terrain meshes don't match bounding boxes. Kindergarten software engineering. Set the meshes to low and you can peek through the edges of almost every terrain feature on every map when positioned correctly.

Are you suggesting settings make the game react completely differently to your character? I feel like that's extremely broken if so.

For number 1 (which as a console player doesn't really affect me) I don't really see what could be done about this which doesn't also affect people who are just shooting at a target while walking forward, or make the improved accuracy while shooting specialistaion almost entirely necessary if you don't want to stand completely still to take a shot. Unless there was some system to only decrease accuracy significantly when ADAD was detected, but how that would work I don't really K ow either.
I don't get what you mean by number 2. Shooting through walls/cover? I quite like the whole bullet penetration mechanic, where you can shoot enemies through thin cover for reduced damage, but I feel like that's not what you mean.
Number 3 is less a game mechanic thing and more just servers I guess, and I've never noticed it personally.

Number 3 I think we agree on so....

Number 1 is more the ability itself. We aren't Neo in the matrix, and a general mobility nerf is needed.

Number 2 is through solid cover, like a hill or a crate. And they do max damage on top of that. It has nothing to do with bullet penetration.

There are lots of issues with this game. In no particular order.

-net code to be fixed the next patch, but I highly doubt it will be.

    -loading screen freeze

-latest glitch being stuck on the bleeding out with the only way to get out of it is to restart the game

    -Minecraft graphics on multiple maps-

-Ridiculous slow graphics rendering in general on console anyway

I played 4 hrs today. 1 hr of that was at loading screens or rebooting or some other nonsense.

I could go on and on......
