*pacific theatre philosophy: control the air, control the sea, control the war.
i think it would be awesome to see an all out naval battle as a new game mode.
just carriers, destroyers, gunboats, submarines, and aircraft.. maybe an island but id rather not.
objective: destroy the enemies aircraft carriers and or destroyers.
# of players: 16v16 , 32v32
1v1 carriers (1 driver, 4 -6 aa guns, 8-10 aircraft)
2v2 destroyers or battleships (3-4 x triple firing 16 inch guns, 4 aa guns, 2 heavy auto cannon placements)
2v2 heavy or light cruisers with cannons (aa guns)
x multiple gunboats/torpedo boats available for both factions.
8-10 aircraft: bombers, dive bombers, torpedo bombers, and fighter escorts.
scene: open ocean, maybe an small island close by for infantry to fight over for heavy artillery positions.
-aircraft carriers are home bases for each faction where aircraft can spawn and launch from with multiple AA placements or small cannons for defense against aircraft or smaller naval ships.
-destroyers or destroyers are out of reach of carriers and can only engage with other naval ships or aircraft.
-battleships/destroyers/gunboats/subs/ and heavy or light cruisers can freely engage each other at will with re-spawns available depending on vehicle type.
-aircraft and smaller naval ships must work together to cripple and destroy the enemies aircraft carriers while defending their own.
-carrier has significant amount of life.
-support ,mechanics can repair carriers or other naval ships to a certain percentage limiting a full repair of carriers or navy ships.
-first team to sink the enemy carrier wins.
