My GPU is only at around 70% usage while my CPU is around 80% which is kinda weird because I have a i5 8600k.
My CPU shouldn't be the limiting factor here.

My GPU is a gtx 970
I have 16gb ddr4 ram

CPU is the limiting factor. BF5 is super CPU intensive. Its engine is one of the few that uses AVX instructions for CPU tasks such as soldier animation, destruction, physics etc. i5s had many problems in BF1, even more in BF5.

Slow memory could be the limited factor as well.

I'm playing with ddr3 1600mhz. I dont have any problem. A ddr4 is even faster(way faster) than my little ddr3.
The only difference could be if its dual or single ram. Dual is much better.
