Well first day of Fall is September 23.  Twitter quoted DICE saying Operation Underground is "early" October.  RSP in September update 4.6 with possibly Al Sundan.  But like you said for Fall.  It be sweet if they weaseled in another map in September.  Since 3 maps divvied up from chapter 5 Fall/September 23 till December 31 2019.  Besides Operation Underground early October.

August patch 4.5 two small maps as in Provence,Lofoten Islands.
September patch 4.6 RSP and Al Sundan hopefully.
    October Operation Underground.
So November/December we get Iwo Jima and two other maps barring any maps dropped sooner then later.

Not sure if boats would be patched into older maps?  Or just the new maps?  Heck Mercury we all suggested that island should be a flag.  Narvik with some boats?  Rotterdam with a few boats but not that great of a spot.

Besides USA/Japan factions and vehicles and weapons and gadgets.  Besides RSP and all game modes.  So there's light at the end of the tunnel.  Just hope they don't start nerfing everything like other games.

You think they will have all the american and Japanese weapons in the TOW or deliver with the launch of the factions? Would really suck to wait to have a BAR or Garand for a few weeks.

Everything from the data mine spread sheet?  I don't know.  Most likely tucked into from now till they stop support before Bad Company 3 Holiday season 2020 on next gen consoles.  So they could spread this out over chapter 5 and maybe 6 or 7 if they go that far.  Still plenty of stuff that's data mined.  Not saying it all see's the light of day though.  But why put hours into something then let it rot?
    .
But we already got GI and Yankee outfits already.  I been rocking them for how long.  But for them dropping everything right away maybe but most likely spread out over weekly TOW's or chapters.

@GRAW2ROBZ From a meteorological POV Fall starts in September, but you are very likely right, considering past releases. DICE also contradicts themselves: Underground and Al-Sundan are supposed to launch with the 4.6 update, so two patches from now, stated to release in September in the dev letter, while appearing on the roadmap for October. For that timeframe nothing else is on the roadmap either. So no new weapons that @PartWelsh possibly teased on Reddit for the bridging of the chapters. Chapter 4 finishes on the 19th of September. Maybe with Metro and go out with a bang and Al-Sundan, or they release Metro in October, possibly the first. As for now there always was at least a month delay between maps, personally I think they can release the Pacific two weeks later, starting Chapter 5, meaning the 17th of October. Meaning 4-x weeks bridge. Or three if they can come out after one week of Metro.
So what are they doing with the bridge? Indeed drop a weapon crate? Would have to be substantial to make up AND get the hype going for the Pacific. So an Intermission, maybe? They can't expect private games to carry anything other than deplete official servers, people need to be drawn and bound until the Pacific release to get excited.
    .
Now the rest of the roadmap. That is typically vague as well. They promise three maps before 2020. Now what does that mean? Will the Pacific just start with Iwo Jima, and the rest of the maps will be released in ToW fashion? Or do they want to protect themselves if new Al-Sundan happens and they can not get it ready.
Next up, 7 new weapons before 2020. What is that supposed to mean? What about the three weapons we will get the next week, do they count? Are the 7 weapons ToW weapons? There are 13 weeks from October 17 until 2020. So that would sound great. However, wouldn't it state it if they were ToW weapons?
What about the two new factions? Will they get weapons from the start? Why are they not mentioned? Or are the 7 new weapons the start weapons of the Japanese Imperial Army and the US? So we don't get them from the start? Also 7 weapons are ridiculously few for an expansion, even if we have a couple already: M1 Garand, M3 Grease Gun, 1917 Enfield, BAR. Arisaka BA, Type 100 SMG, Type 9x LMG. That's 7 weapons and we have no Japanese Assault weapons. What about pistols, do they count as weapon? So no Nambu Pistol? What about the Stakeout Shotgun or the M2 Carbine that were already in the files.
The roadmap speaks about weapons AND gadgets, so the Bazooka must be in. What about the knee mortar or the Lunge Mine? Are they in?
It is the same with vehicles, so we get "boats", so I guess a Dhingi counts as one. What about planes and tanks? Altogether there must be like at least ten different vehicles, when will they arrive?
    .
This roadmap is a question hidden in a riddle surrounded by a mystery, it tells you nothing. Typical DICE.

I've been waiting for the m2 ever since the chapter 4 trailer. I just hope we get a decent amount of guns and gadgets at the launch of chapter five.

Seriously. Only 1 good *real* Conquest map since launch. Everything else is a C.O.D., Fortnight, or just plain vaporware.

The 7 new weapons fall under Chapter 5. So it sounds like Pacific Theater weapons.

Pretty much a joke. One is a copy from Firestorm( which no one plays anyways) and the other is a combo of buildings from Mercury and Marita. Also both to our knowledge so far only support the smaller game mode? Let's think about this one Dice..... What is battlefield known for..... LARGE SCALE BATTLES not small player game modes.

Maps are dead before they even came out...... Can't wait for the Pacific to come out in 2020  :D
    When do those drop?

Ah, I see what happened here. There was a typo. See, the first L is actually a capital I so it's actually meant to say "Starting in Fail".

Definitely not what we wanted or needed. Such a sad state for BF atm. Embarrassing.

Dev's dont even ask the community what they want. All they hear is maps and suddenly think that we need smaller game mode maps on a battlefield game... no logic at all.

There have been surveys from the CM's but I have felt what is the point in these as nothing will change. Braddock and Partwelsh have little influence over what gets fixed, all they can do is convey what is wrong and what is urgent. The devs can choose to ignore which they have plainly done very effectively so far.

Well the way its worded 3 new maps before 2020.  That excludes Operation Underground in October.  So they need to tuck in 3 maps before December 31.  Besides Al Sundan and we get the two small maps next patch next week.  Also chapter 5 starts in the Fall September 23.  If they were geared up we could almost get a map before October.  If not then they pushing 3 maps in either October,November,December.  Besides Operation Underground in October as well.  Then we get the 500 rank and RSP and new faction and weapons besides the new chapter and TOW's.  So its starting to pile on nice if nothing is delayed.

johnkapa1 that's completely untrue, the devs put out a monthly survey asking exactly what we want. If you haven't done it I recommend that you do as the community team advertises it here on the forum, on Reddit, and and social media when it goes live.

It should be a pop up when you load the game because most don't bother here or reddit.

We will then turn our attention to the Pacific, the return to Iwo Jima, and two more locations that you’ll deploy on this side of the holidays. This is going to be a huge update for us, with new weapons, vehicles, factions, and visuals supporting the new maps coming with this Chapter.

Sounds like 3 Pacific maps to me.
After being so thoroughly disappointed in what we have received in BFV so far, can't help but think all we will get for the Pacific theatre will be:
    1x Pacific themed vehicle
    2-3 Pacific themed weapons/gadgets
3-4 Pacific themed cosmetics- available for BOINS only of course
1x new map (if we are lucky)

Can't shake the feeling DICE will totally hype the Pacific theatre as being the next biggest DLC to BFV and do the ABSOLUTE barest minimum to try and bait people into hanging around.
Given everything they have either scaled back on or cancelled in this game, I don't see how this will be any different TBH.
