    Mortar for support.
You had a fantastic idea, in Battlefield 1 there were mortars. I don't understand why we don't have mortars in ww2 .... I hope they hear you, friend.

I do , they are just greaf gadgets. It is more then enough that you could call in artillery strike as a freaking squad leader, it should be the commanders role. But DICE manage to kill the commander role in BF4 with some kind of  kids toy game and not an physical entity in game.

    Add:
    - Custom emblems for individual and clan
    - Ability to slowly push/move towables, or at least turn the carriages to point in a different direction
    - Colored smoke marker grenade or some similar ability to mark a target for a pilot to attack (maybe a squad leader perk)
    - Improved anti-cheat (this is a big one)
    - Ability to switch teams, and better balancing both during a round and between rounds

    Delete:
    - 3x scopes on assault/medic/support; if you don't want to delete them, then increase the ADS time or give some other tradeoff so that there is more of a reason to run low-magnification or iron sights
    - Fjell 652.  OK, maybe not delete it, but rework the map so you can actually see infantry a little better

    Things I would add
    Gadgets.
Mortar, direct damage explosives, colour smoke, trip flare or stationary sensor

    Specialisation of Melee weapons like
    Shovel = dig foxholes
    Hatchet = damage/cut wood
    All to break glass

Commander assets on field where possible BTW UAV did exist in ww2 they even had TV cameras

As someone who just picked this game up:

    1. Anti-cheat. I cannot believe this is not a priority.
    2. Balancing. Of teams during/after matches. Some kind of matchmaking system based on skill, rank etc.
    3. Even after opening several ports on the router I get consistently kicked out of sessions. With a solid connection, how can this be happening in 2019?

These are the most immediate impressions after two days of online play.

Add: ping limit (height, variation, packet loss)
Add: Some extra bullets for mid range. (Or recoil, suppression, whatever it takes to be able to react)

    Delete: 3x scope without glint.

    1. Hardcore mode!
    2. Real rentable servers that have options to make it one shot kill!

Stimulants as secondary Medic equipment which allows when shared to team mates them having better health regeneration rate and faster sprint for a short period of time.

Fortification tool kit as secondary Support equipment which allows them to reinforce fortifications with extra layer for better durability. (Edit: After constructing a fortification, Support can construct second layer of metallic frame withstanding 2 extra hits. Slightly slower constructing rate than first buildable.)

Satchel charge as secondary Recon equipment which deals collosal damage against reinforced structures. Recon could then do spec-ops missions behind enemy lines. (Edit: Timer fuse, doesn't stick to materials like dynamite charges, explosive power of 5 dynamite charges. Recon can carry only one satchel charge at a time.)

Ability to turn artillery.. It is a massive hassle to try and line up the guns via a hitched vehicle. Lets us tow it into position then turn onto our preferred position.

Would actually make them a viable asset.

How about simply giving back all the game modes and letting us host servers?

All these ideas are fantastic. I have collected comments from everyone, some ideas I have not understood very well. Forgiving my English is very bad and I use google translator to be able to collect information.

I have noticed that the vast majority agree on the elimination of scope x3 from weapons, anticheats, movement of AT 360º guns, colored smoke grenades and custom emblems.

I will try to get this post to all people so they understand what the community is really asking for.

Everyone who commented on this post likes Battlefield V and I know you want to help make this game good.

    Thank you all for collaborating.

Regarding things I would like to add:

    1. Mortars. It seems a little crazy to me that a WW2 game lacks mortar fire...

    2. Day time / night time cycles, with night time cycles relying heavily on flares for player visibility. The “but mah visibility!” folks who want nothing less than Doritos and glowing players would cry hard, but I do think a night time cycle would add a lot of suspense — something that is lacking in BFV, outside of stuff like the mad scramble for the final flag on Iwo Jima BT.

    3. Transport trucks with capacity for two full squads. Would be a risk for the squads using the transport (way more so than LCVPs), but the potential gains to be had from driving to a strategic point behind enemy lines to take the objective by surprise with up to 8 players would be worth that risk, IMO. We can sort of do that now with smaller vehicles, but there’s no way to coordinate such an attack outside of platoons using Discord.

    4. Better CQC weapons for Recon. Recon could be SUCH a useful PTO class, but it’s limited by poor weapons. The Trench Carbine on automatic can sort of do the job, but it’s still much weaker in CQC than SMGs and ARs.

Regarding stuff I’d like to see removed, sniper scopes FOR SURE. For ALL classes. This is a WW2 game; having the bulk of the team running around with 3x and 6x scopes is unrealistic to an extreme. Also, the existence of a sniper class role in general is unrealistic. Sharpshooters were historically rare. Make scoped rifles a pickup like the flamethrower or the katana, and have less of them on CQC objective-based modes like Breakthrough. Put more of them in Conquest and Team Deathmatch if you must so the yolo solo hill humpers can continue to enjoy padding their KD and not helping their team. There are few things more frustrating than being on the attacking BT team and most of your teammates are camping on a hill peering through 6x scopes and doing absolutely nothing for the handful of guys trying in vain to take the objective.

All the things you guys say are great, but what I'd add is better visibility , not a spotting mechanism , just better all around visibility.

Dynamic flags on the maps (i.e., each round the flags could be in different areas)

Add: fix bugs, balancing, net code and create a finished product vs the hot mess of a betafield. Better maps.

Remove: unable to respawn death loop. Ridiculous skins, 5.2 TTK, invisible players (YES A THING AGAIN), constant things impeding maneuver, game modes added without much thought or research. And DICE from this franchise.

I think the best way to have better visibility would be that the uniforms of each faction were the same color. I remember that in Battlefield 1942 the Germans were a very dark color and lighter Americans.
