Beautiful view. As someone who has never been to a remotely large city, the sheer scale of everything gives me chills.
Large cities suck. You can get the same feeling crawling under your car. It's so cramped.
Good shot though, OP.
I have been living in several metropolitan cities all my life, and so used to be calling these places 'home'. Some parts of NYC may be gritty and not 'beautiful' as others, full of weirdness, craziness and unpredictability...and according to the movies, if Aliens or Godzilla or anything were to visit humankind, they would come here...
...but still this is home for me
Nice pic, man.
I myself HATE living in a medium sized city, I cant even imagine living someplace as big as NYC. Still a very good picture of the skyline.

The roof or under a car. I think I would be on the roof too.
New York City - Manhattan facing south downtown - you can see Freedom Tower not far from the tribute lights
To my awareness, it was only on on 9/11, and for a few hours on one specific night a coupla days before.

And for me, I'd rather struggle here than be relaxed at some other place
Have you ever been in Central Park (it's a big park in the middle of Manhattan)?
The 9/11 tribute is for mourning and a tribute in remembrance of all the innocent people who lost their lives in that horrific event.
Personally for me, it is my wish from now on that there should not be anymore deaths from any conflict, hence 'To World Peace'
Yeah, I do go there sometimes

Same. Definitely wouldn't want to live my whole life there though.
