Its worse then a website with pop ups. Everytime I play through web interface the new SpamBot Origin pop-up shows up after I exit a server. Anyone figure out how to shut this CrapWare down? The future is intrusive. as if the developers have never left their intranet cave and been on the internet

Indeed !! TrueEmissary, very Intrusive this Version of ORIGIN.

We are dealing with it ourselves here.
It's just how many Interface windows, are need it to just Open a game, with the "New Origin UI design", it was good with the Other UI design of ORIGIN,
Now this is their "NEW performance design" :

1.-Click Icon Multimedia Product of preference, "game", BF4 (for example) .
2.-Pop, window... Click, Log IN... into your account EA.
3.-Pop, out Origin, Look for your Game.
Click on window interface of Multimedia Product BF3 , BF4 or BFHL , etc.
4.-Pop, Another interface window on top of it, with Play icon.
    Click on Play icon.

(Meanwhile ORIGIN, it don't minimize itself and work in the background , it stays in your "face" in Desktop, blocking out Battlelog when it appears, have to do all manually.)

5.-And Then.... Finally !!.....Battlelog browser appears.
That's a Lot of Interface windows....remind me, of the ingame interfaces of NO MAN SKY !! and just to want to play a round "game".

This need to be address, needs to be modified and fix the code source, in how INTRUSIVE ORIGIN is now.

    regards

    p.s.
And on top of that , add BF1 bugs for the next month, it's going to be Chaotic, if it's not fix now.

This is definitely not intended, and we're working on a fix for this issue. In the meantime, you can turn "Show Origin after Gameplay" off as indicated above.

Please EA Alex, I do hope the Devs. In charge of this "not intended mess" can address it correctly this time, as it was before = meaning the old ORIGIN worked perfectly.!
Because the last patch released for this new version of ORIGIN, Honestly just make it worst!!

Thank you for paying attention to the forums and promp fix.

^ You can always reinstall an older version of Origin and then disable Origin updates. This worked for perfectly for me.

    HI RustedRoot.
thanks for feedback but unfortunately for us , is not working anymore, because it forced us to update it, right out of the bat.

We tried uninstalling folders and resetting the server to Original , but as soon we download the Origin, it's already set to get Auto updates, even when we get it to worked last time , the game don't launch, because, it needs the update code browser to launch the game.

Even tho, we shouldn't be fiddling with our servers and PC's because, EA (the Company) and Origin Devs. just made an Unintentional MESS, becasue not Knowing, how to handle and use the CODE properly of the FREE source Code for ORIGIN to "Update" the Software.

I'm glad that you got it to work, honestly don't know how you make it to stick in the old ver. and be able to launch the multimedia product"game"BF4, but good for you RustedRoot.

We can't launch Bf3, Bf4, HL. of any other game we Host from EA ( the Company) , If ORIGIN is not updated.

    thanks anyhow RustedRoot.

    regards

    p.s.
EA_Alex that fix don't work at all, becasue it always shows after changing server after a round and trying to join another server, very annoying and Intrusive, PLEASE haven't you tried yourself and see how unconventional it is ? !! .
Hope they Fix it "Pronto" Fast, Please, it should not take all this time to figure it out !! , c'mon Devs. you already have the template code there !!

I've actually gone back to the new version of Origin and don't have any issues with it either. Sorry to hear you guys can't seem to get it working right. I'm wondering if there is something else on your PC's that are/is causing the issues? Since I don't have a problem with Origin at all. Maybe I am lucky?

I do run a rather clean PC too. I have no extra programs that are not needed etc. I pretty much run a clean install of Windows and I install a fresh copy of Windows once every year, just to keep things in tip-top shape.

Well good for you , I'm glad you don't have any issues and seems you are "OK" in the way ORIGIN is INTRUSIVE in your system , that's your personal choice.
That EA ( the company) already accepted, acknowledge and understand we have troubles with this "new" Intrusive, faulty, version of ORIGIN, says all.

Hope they can fix this .
Oh...and by the way RustedRoot, You cannot install the older version of ORIGIN, the game will not launch.
That's is no more an Option, I would (with all due respects) that you should stop saying that as a fix.
Don't even bother about answer , will be appreciated.
    thank you.

As EA_Alex said, they are in the ball now and working for a FIX .

    regards

I hate this "origin" every time pops up. EA seems don't respect users at all.

One time at work a contract programmer who'd been around about 2 years was whining to my boss that he wasn't being given the same spiffy trinkets the fulltime employees were (in this case, a leather jacket). Boss replies "tell ya what--if you can get your server to stay up for 3 days straight without restarting anytime in the next 3 months, I will personally buy you a jacket". Said contractor couldn't do it. He was just one of those programmers that is incapable of producing fully working code.
He must have gone to work for EA.

Origin is not intrusive on my system. I have no idea what inspired that comment from you.

I installed the old version and the game launched fine for me. I've since gone back to the most recent version and it works perfectly fine.

Zero issues on my end. Sorry you continue to have issues.

The thing is still misbehaving for me as well, on three different PC's. It forgets its settings, so keeps popping up before and after every game I join. It sometimes pops up randomly when I'm doing nothing at all related to gaming. And it is regularly failing to remote sync. It is most very obnoxious.

The screens of ORIGIN, still keeping popping in, over and over, and the new trouble we are facing now, is that after the last patch for ORIGIN, we can't see the pings in BF3.

indeed Frogtooh it's obnoxious an intrusive .

    cheers

This software is crap (version 10.0.2.33129-491881). I change settings off and come back the next day and everything is turned back on. This include "Show Origin after gameplay", "Share system interaction data", Cloud Storage "Saves". I tried starting Origin as Admin and making the changes, no luck. Funny too that its only the "spy on you" settings.
