( 37 ) I didn't include the Network Smoothing Factor simply because I myself have not read that it can significantly change the game HOWEVER your correct as it could possibly help. Memtest has changed & will detect a leak but I'm not 100% certain as to the extent it informs via the report given. I will do some research to find the answer to this.

I also didn't add this as not all users have this problem which can also be resolved differently other than what is suggested in the video -

( 38 ) How to Remove & Install INVIDIA Graphics Correctly
The following is the "BEST" known way to uninstall & install new NVIDIA Graphics Drivers. If your system is consistantly crashing you can review your CBS LOGS or try WhoCrashed http://www.resplendence.com/whocrashed [resplendence.com] There are other tools available one can use to determine the cause of a BSOD ( Blue Screen of Death ) but this process works well & is user friendly. Often there are traces left from previous drivers & the GeForce Experience may or may not remove all traces of previous drivers.

    WARNING:

( 1 ) ALWAYS run DDU in SAFE MODE ONLY
( 2 ) When installing the new graphics driver ALWAYS select the option to perform a "CLEAN INSTALL"
( 3 ) When selecting the new driver ALWAYS read the release notes to be certain your Operating System is compatible.

    ( 1 ) Download & install DDU
    LINK: http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html [guru3d.com]

( 2 ) Run DDU in SAFE MODE ONLY after you complete the removal process RESTART your computer.

( 3 ) Go to NVIDIA & select your specific driver
    http://www.nvidia.com/content/global/global.php [nvidia.com]

( 4 ) ALWAYS when installing NVIDIA drivers, perform a CLEAN INSTALL when prompted

( 5 ) RE-START your computer after the driver has in stalled then adjust your NVIDIA control panel as needed!

    :-) Good Luck & Best Wishes :-)

( 39 ) COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS!
The following is a COMPLETE TUTORIAL with links provided to help you get connected to TeamSpeak3. If your not using it your missing out on a much HIGHER QUALITY gaming experience overall! TeamSpeak3 is the LEAST CPU intrusive voice over software available! If your system is running Battlefield4 it will as well run the TeamSpeak3 application with NO PROBLEM! Follow the provided steps & you will be able to connect in less than 30 minuets!

    ( 1 ) ( Video ) 3:31 - Definition & brief introduction - [youtube.com]

    ( 2 ) (Video ) 12:29 - Windows Installation and Setup - [youtube.com]

Go here to Get the TeamSpeak3 application - http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads [teamspeak.com]

( 3 ) ( Video ) 0:58 - Invite buddies via your smart phone on Teamspeak3 with a single link to directly log them in the current server your connected to - [youtube.com]
    ( video ) 4:42 - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teamspeak.ts3client&hl=en [play.google.com]
    Available for iphone, android
    Google play - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teamspeak.ts3client&hl=en [play.google.com]

Connecting to a specific TeamSpeak3 server can be done rather easialy utilizing many methods however the following is SPECIFIC to Battlefiled 4 & the game server associated with the TeamSpeak3.
    * NOTE * - Not all game servers have a TeamSpeak3 associated yet those whom do are noticeable as they are generally populated compared to that of servers which have no TeamSpeak3 application associated.

    Server Description Method -
    Step # 1 - http://gyazo.com/96b6681c48be26272cfa651c51030aa7 [gyazo.com]
    Step # 2 - http://gyazo.com/ffdfc3250d749b960f17522a7e1a1bb9 [gyazo.com]

    * NOTE * - In the following steps my TeamSpeak3 application will differ from yours as mine has been customized to suit me. You can customize your TeamSpeak3 application by simply going to the TeamSpeak3 web site provided here - http://addons.teamspeak.com/ [addons.teamspeak.com]
If you want it similar to mine, go to this link -http://sc-convoy.com/?p=54 [sc-convoy.com] Scroll down to TEAM SPEAK 3 & TEAMSPEAK CONVOY DARK THEME, select ( GRAB IT HERE ). If you prefer the Battlefield4 skin it can be found here - http://addons.teamspeak.com/directory/addon/stylesheets/Battlefield-4-Design-Theme-Icon-Pack.html [addons.teamspeak.com]

Step # 3 - Start the TeamSpeak3 application via your desktop icon
    http://gyazo.com/4e65b0bf5e99f218058928a038a28164 [gyazo.com]
Step # 4 - To get started, select Connections then Server List, the following will then appear - http://gyazo.com/818af8fe3b53e197d174fc32604029da [gyazo.com]
    Step # 5 - http://gyazo.com/58457ba0994dba14eb4bcfdbd3b57f89 [gyazo.com]
    Step # 6 - http://gyazo.com/a68a9b1acd1a5386a801aaf80c6c2e86 [gyazo.com]

I will now show another method to connect to the TeamSpeak3 server we have selected. In the TeamSpeak3 application select the following Bookmarks / Manage Bookmarks / Add Bookmarks, view the next image to better well understand the connection information - http://gyazo.com/a6bce050dd01cf7b8bca4f1c02feb31a [gyazo.com]
After the newly added Bookmark you simply click okay to connect. If it doesn't connect simply go to the Bookmark Tab & select the newly added bookmark. Once connected you will then see the application has connected as shown - http://gyazo.com/0023c42d3f7e0279b3c4f9ed4e1ae9d6 [gyazo.com]

To disconnect go to the Connections Tab & select Disconnect From Current. To add additional servers one can simply get the connection information & use the same method repeatedly to store numerous Bookmarks of TeamSpeak3 servers.
By matching the game server via BATTLELOG & the TeamSpeak3 server via the TeamSpeak3 app you can now communicate in real-time, any-time, acround the World to friends & fellow gamers alike! Also you can learn more & have a much better gaming experience.

I myself have been using the application over 20 + years & I use it to communicate with people everywhere around the world & unlike the in-game VOIP which is horrible to say the least I stay connected to my fellow gamer's & friends 24/7 for FREE.

A HEAD-SET & A MIC WILL MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD!

 GOOD LUCK & BEST WISHES

If your not in a VOIP talking to your squad members, your missing out!
Some use Steam / Vent / Skype / TeamSpeak3 ect. ect..Most servers PROVIDIE a TeamSpeak3 attached to the server therefore allowing you to have crystal clear VOIP versus trying to listen to someone whom sounds as if they are in the bottom of a huge drum. You can easialy download TeamSpeak3 here ---> http://www.teamspeak3.com/ [teamspeak3.com] Once you download it find a server whom uses it & join & experience a much better overall in game experience. I've been using it now for the past 16 years to not only communicate to my gaming friends but I use it also to talk to family members whom have been deployed around the globe. If you don't understand how to set it up, you can return to this thread & those of whom do use it can help you. I will add one of the basic steps simply to help you get connected. One more thing I forgot to mention, I have personally tested the following VOIP's & for those of you whom think Skype is so grand, well it is the WORST in consideration to your CPU! Here is a list of the worst in order of the one''s I have tested & results given. Remember this, if your VOIP is INTRUSIVE to your CPU, it is taking performance AWAY from your overall system performance while in game. Keep in mind it may be ideal for use out-side of gaming otherwise your using resources of which can affect your game play experience.
All results are PEAK streaming in game with the CPU DRAW listed in percentage. The following are the 4 VOIP's tested, the system spec's are listed below.

WORST to BEST peak draw in %
    ( 1 ) Skype - 14 %
    ( 2 ) Steam - 8 %
    ( 3 ) Vent - 8 %
    ( 4 ) TeamSpeak3 - 2 %

Just so you know I tested each of them one at a time in game! With that being said there is no denying which of the 4 is the better option for gaming on the PC.

    ( 1 ) Download TeamSpeak3 - http://www.teamspeak3.com/ [teamspeak3.com]
( 2 ) Re-start after you have downloaded it, there are several YouTube videos to help you as well as the TeamSpeak3 forums.

    * NOTE: If you wish to change the skin for a better look, there are many to choose from & directions as to how to do it found here:
    Random Skins - http://addons.teamspeak.com/directory/skins/stylesheets.html [addons.teamspeak.com]
    BattleField 4 Skins - http://addons.teamspeak.com/directory/addon/stylesheets/Skin-Battlefield-4.html [addons.teamspeak.com]

My point in starting this thread is that communication while playing Battlefield 4 is essential. You will also meet new friends & what you will hear will be so much better than the VOIP!

And don't forget to READ THE SERVER DESCRIPTION before you join a server!
 Good Luck & Best Wishes

( 40 ) IMPROVE YOUR CONNECTION & CLEAN YOUR DNS FILES

Notice at the top of the Command Prompt box as shown here ( http://gyazo.com/b48f9a0b989dbf2e0ac46e5043245e25 [gyazo.com] )
it clearly shows a Administrator: Command Prompt.
Type in the following EXACTLY as shown here ( ipconfig /flushdns ) then press enter on your keyboard. Allow the command to finish as shown here ( http://gyazo.com/655ea94ebfb9530d6617f4a5ee55e77e [gyazo.com] ) Once the command line has completed, exit the Administrative: Command Prompt.

Windows 8.1 users - Go to your tiles in the bottom left then the search ( mag. glass nearest the top right ). Type in the following EXACTLY as shown here ( ipconfig /flushdns ) EXAMPLE: ( http://gyazo.com/e4058dfdbbe50e0da3cbc90b63113dd2 [gyazo.com] ) then press ENTER the following will appear once completed, ( http://gyazo.com/655ea94ebfb9530d6617f4a5ee55e77e [gyazo.com] ) Once the command line has completed, exit the Administrative: Command Prompt.

Both are basically very similar & will achieve the same goal. If you wish to know the action you have just complete using the Administrative Command prompt you can read in detail the purpose here - http://www.speedguide.net/faq/how-to-flush-the-dns-cache-in-windows-7-vista-294 [speedguide.net]

( 42 ) Did you know or are you even aware there is a process to open/unlock the Phantom Assignments? Well there is & entering those codes now will allow you to get the progression to not only unlock those assignments. Follow the process below!

HOW TO UNLOCK THE PHANTOM ASSIGNMENTS

( 1 ) In Battlelog under your Solider go to the LEADERBOARDS tab & open it.
    EXAMPLE: https://gyazo.com/c8665c94e8c11d2a4c0a376b1b7446a9 [gyazo.com]

( 2 ) Scroll DOWN to the bottom of the page.
    EXAMPLE: https://gyazo.com/b8de137582e3fcb782864258bc005a24 [gyazo.com]

In the BOTTOM LEFT CORNER there is a skull double click on the skull & a dos screen will open.
    EXAMPLE: https://gyazo.com/032cc10321dc8ab55a0d733512e4eab7 [gyazo.com]

Once it has stopped enter the first code:
( A ) bumpinthenight <-- All one word NO SPACES - Then Press Enter on your keyboard & the dos will run.

Once it has stopped you can then enter the second code -
( B ) epic dream worlds <-- Type it in exactly as shown - Then Press Enter on your keyboard & the dos will run.

Once it has stopped again you can enter the third code -
( C ) 24344241893 <-- Type it in exactly as shown - Then Press Enter on your keyboard & the dos will run.

When it has finished you will see in the text - Phase 4 now active. Physical access restriction in place.
    EXAMPLE: https://gyazo.com/7134fa0fde8970bd54542ecefa192966 [gyazo.com]

To exit simply select the ( X ) located in the top right corner.

To verify it worked you can then go to your Solider / Assignments / scroll down to PHANTOM ASSIGNMENTS & below each of the four there is a progression bar that should now be open below each of the four.

    HOW TO LOCATE THE DOGTAGS

Once you have finished unlocking each of the four PHANTOM ASSIGNMENTS you are now ready to search ( In the FINAL STAND maps ) for the dog tags. Below is a link to the location of all the dogtags.

    LINK: http://imgur.com/a/sX93D [imgur.com]

Dogtags can be found in the following four maps
    ( 1 ) Operation Whiteout
    ( 2 ) Hammerhead
    ( 3 ) Giants of Karelia
    ( 4 ) Hanger 21

NOTE: Most people have trouble viewing the maps, here is how to view the entire page.
Open the following link: http://imgur.com/a/sX93D [imgur.com]

Select the map you wish to view by scrolling down, Example - Operation Whiteout: https://gyazo.com/a96a18e4ef29a43211beca4d38f60a87 [gyazo.com]

Once you "Click on the map it will open in a expanded view, RIGHT CLICK on the map & select Open Image in a new tab. Go to the top & select the tab & the view is now large enough for you to view the picture. EXAMPLE: https://gyazo.com/1a8bc8b03f33f8f1e00226a3069c9c75 [gyazo.com]

Each map varies in the amount of dogtags as well as the locations. There has been several comments about when they spawn & how often, my experience is they are there once the map has started & once someone has found one it is right back in the map in a different location. As for timing I have found four in a row, one right after the other with help from other platoon members.

To pick it up USE ONLY A KNIFE, stab at the box & the box will disappear, then move until you can see press the letter E on your keyboard to pick it up, you will hear a sound if you pick it up. You only have 30 seconds once you cut the box to pick it up, if not it will disappear & be already in the map in a different location.

READ: If you shoot or blow up a location the tag will disappear & if you try ANYTHING other than a knife to open the box it will also disappear! DO NOT try using a ice sickle to get a dogtag, it will destroy it & you will then need to search for it again!

Once you have finished all the PHANTOM ASSIGNMENTS & have unlocked the PHANTOM dogtag EXAMPLE: https://gyazo.com/6f9119e9084ef3d4e5b84229413b3a5a [gyazo.com]

You must equip the PHANTOM CAMO on your solider, primary weapon, pistol, parachute EXAMPLE: https://gyazo.com/5cc9f30addd13352f824e75d1e37fe7a [gyazo.com]

It takes 3 other players to help you when going into the elevator, each need a different final stand dogtag equipped, here are the 5 dogtags from the final stand maps. They are the last five as show in this pic: EXAMPLE:https://gyazo.com/394da9fbbb069daab640c95c8db5ba7f [gyazo.com]

#44 Reading the SERVER DESCRIPTION & why!

Often to many are joining servers & the server has rules or expectations set forth to promote the game play on the server. There are several setting that are pre-set meaning spaw times of both vehicles or soliders as well as multiple server settings. So before you choose to join a server you should know first that server settings can & will determine almost every factor in the game play & your success as to what you may or may not wish to do. By reading the SERVER DESCRIPTION prior to joining that specific server will determine the goal of achieving a good gaming experience. Some servers are set up with various setting to promote the style of game play conductive to ranking up weapons where as some may be to use vehicles depending on the game mode which can be viewed in those settings. Let's say you want to rank up specific weapons without getting killed by tanks or helicopters so here are some game modes that would effectively help with that. Also so servers have No Admins yet pre-set settings determine the game play, you'll need to read the SERVER DESCRIPTION closely to obtain that information. Ticket counts are as well determined by the admin / Clan therefore that can determine the length of the game play. All the information can be viewed by simply reading the FULL SERVER DESCRIPTION,

So you would select the server you wish to find out all the information by selecting it & highlighting it white & then select VIEW FULL SERVER PAGE. When you view the full server page you will see all the game modes & settings

    Game Modes
Conquest Large - Large maps with vehicles yet some servers have NO VEHICLES, it's states this in the SERVER DESCRIPTION.
Conquest Small - Simply half the size of Conquest Large & again some servers have NO VEHICLES, it's states this in the SERVER DESCRIPTION.
DOMINATION - Large maps with vehicles & infantry & again some servers have NO VEHICLES, it's states this in the SERVER DESCRIPTION.
DEFUSE - Smaller maps with vehicles & infantry & again some servers have NO VEHICLES, it's states this in the SERVER DESCRIPTION.
OBLITERATION - Depending on the map some are small & some are large & some may or may not have vehicles, this is as well set by the server configuration file when the server owner or what the Clan determines.
RUSH - Depending on the map some are small & some are large & some may or may not have vehicles, this is as well set by the server configuration file when the server owner or what the Clan determines.
SQUAD DEATHMATCH - Each team can have several squads of 4 or 5 players to battle infantry battles amongst all players on the server.
TEAM DEATHMATCH - 2 teams of equally numbered players where the ticket count determines the winner.
AIR SUPERIORITY - Depending on the map some with helicopters & some have jets. the winning team is decided by the tickets.
CAPTURE THE FLAG ( CTF ) - 2 teams battle to obtain the opposing teams flags, 3 capture & returns determines the winner.
CHAIN LINK - capture all the links & finish the links, the winning team captures the links & gains the win thru the links & the enemy kills ( ticket count ).

This thread was moved three times & I updated it numerous times & honestly as I add to it I don't want to spend the time to use the BBC. The information is free & if the community wants other opinions, others can also post their suggestions here!

    # 46 Often community members post questions & fail to provide system spec's which leads to inadequate replies & threads which are endless in what some consider a "GUESSING GAME". Below are 2 examples of how this can be completed & the information you provide will be undoubtedly correct!
The first example is to use Speccy & simply screen shot your specs using Gyazo.
    To obtain Speccy: https://piriform.com/speccy
    To obtain Gyazo: https://gyazo.com/download?dl=now

Here is an example of how well they work together: https://gyazo.com/9f88ce77eedd2e251a5e5a2591774663 or you can select to **** only the information needed: https://gyazo.com/83fff0c41acb5671be895167bc4c9384

The second method is to use notepad & type out all the information, some which may not be included in the first method such as your case, keyboard, mouse & monitor or [Build Log]. There is no specific order however the following is a good example.
    https://gyazo.com/e90304b905a8f6a7feb29a7a73019bd8
or you can simply copy & paste it into the thread, example:
    CoolerMaster HAF-X 942 Advanced (Customized)
    Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
    ASUS MAXIMUS V-EXTREME, 1155 Z77
    i7-3770k @ 3.50GHZ
    GSkill (8X4) 32GB DDR3-2133
HT Omega FENIX 7.1 Sound Card
    Swiftek H20-320 Liquid Cooling
    EVGA GeForce GTX670 4GB (X 3-SLI)
    EVGA 1300 watt SuperNova
    (X2) OCZ Vertex 4-256GB SSD (RAID0)
    Wester Digital Velociraptor 500GB
    Western Digital 1TB 7200 RPM
    [Build Log/Guide]-
    http://www.overclock.net/t/1333831/build-log-guide-asus-maximus-v-extreme-1155-z77-by-gunny1966-consistantly-updating-to-included-win-8-1-clean-install-raid0/30
    EVGA Mods & Rigs-
    http://www.modsrigs.com/detail.aspx?BuildID=31296
    Most Recent Pic's-

    85e47f2c144ed267192ba45680c3c383_zpsysaaqvli.jpg

This method is lengthy but it allows others to view it easily & post replies without opening links. It's very simple, if you want correct answers to questions the more specific you are will result in a more specific answer. Use photobucket to even enhance what it is your trying to describe. With all the technology available today you can share almost everything but be cautious in what you share. One thing to remember is to read thru the post as not all answer will be correct simply because we are all human ( including me ), it's best to get the answer verified with the opinion of others!

    :-) Good Luck & Best Wishes :-)
