i did some research on the picture itself. i stumbled upon a painter named frederick judd waugh. in my opinion the painting is nearly close. at least very similar.
check: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frederick_Judd_Waugh
the time periode is legit, so is his style.
here's the twist:
He is the artist who is responsible for the dreadnough camouflage. boom
Very interesting. What is even more interesting is one of his quotes
"If you can do so, grab the whole thing in one continuous period of time. Your work will have the vitality and snap it needs to convey its full significance.
~Frederick Judd Waugh"
related to the morse codes, it is a very interesting hint!
The guy made the Dazzle camo! Dam. Connection to dreadnoughts?!
excactly my thinking. the linkage to the new shiny bf1 mechanic is too striking. also i remember getting this camo as per-order prozent early enlister. perhaps equip the camo, get in the dreadnought...?
Maybe, perhaps theres some writing on the dreadnought when the camo is equipped? Maybe the camo even has some from of visual encryption language on it (binary?).
Problem is I don't know how to equip the camo.
anyone who has the dazzle camo and is willing to try?

we found headphones in random locations across the maps.
we found MComs in the maps.
when you have found a headphone and you get close to an MCom u hear something that sounds like morse code.
we have found 2 paintings with some form of code.
(pigmen Cypher, ASFDX cypher)
on [Ballroom Blits] and [Amiens]
we probably found a painter relating to the paintings (frederick judd waugh)

I've seen the Dreadnought come sailing in once with the razzle dazzle in full effect. It was a bit far out in the water to read anything but still close enough to hit with fixed Artillery shells.
Has anyone got a good guide on all the known locations which shows the locations of the headphone on the map (top down) as well as an image in front of each headphone to show exact location?
I will try to find info about the locations of headphones and MCOMs (and now paintings) and put it into maps!, would be more easy to everybody keep they efforts (unfurtunelly i don't have too much time to spent searching) I will try to help gathering and researching the codes. (and hope have some ideas to help too)
talking about ideas: anyone confirmed if the morse code really changes (or was only glitch) and if it really do, what make it change from each one!?
I have seen a similar Cross before it not the pigmen cypher it not complete
I believe it might be more like the US evacuation markings where AA, AS, JP and PP stand for something.
Pigpen cypher is text to symbol or symbol to text.
That my point we don't have enough information yet, whether the cross is part of the cipher key or not.
It could be grid co-ordinates or as someone pointed out early it could be a cipher wheel. Where the first word is the AA aligned and the second is JP aligned.
Here something else which language are we decipher into?
Why in the single player during through mud and blood the pigeon delivers a message with a written grid of 317241 ele60 but the artillery fire on grid 3642. Is that connected.
Maybe the key is the cele minute locksmith shop with a gaint golden key on it with the house number 49 and located on the Amiens map.
P.S. You can be on a empty server to find the headphones and listen to the morse.
I can confirm that the painting is in another location on Amiens, it's in the building that is out in the open right next to the bridge and objective D.
I can also confirm that there is a group of crates on Amiens with the same S.N. 37068 writing on it in one of the buildings facing objective C.
would using a mobile phone keypad work as a pigpen cypher using divisions of numbers and text letters to convert the code into a number sequence. this could explain the numbers in the morse as a hint..??
What if the painting code is a clue to the key arrangement. That would make 4 keys, one for each quarter. The letters shown are hints to show alignment. Using a simple reversal cipher, it would look something like this:
Alright, so I replied to Coronakill when he said SN 37068 (found in Naitsabes317j's video: ). It goes in to google and shows up with Mexico and a couple other Latin American countries. That brought up a huge "holy ****" moment for me. The Zimmerman Telegram. (Here is a link so you can sort of understand it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zimmermann_Telegram)
The telegram was sent by Germany to Mexico in hopes to get them involved with the war. If the US sided with the Allies, attack the US is basically what Germany told Mexico to do. In terms of all the MCOMs and morse code stuff that has come up, its a possibility that these can be linked. How they relate, thats the fun part. So im not entirely sure how we can link the two together BUT I think I know what (if it is correct about the ZT thing) we could get. Some sort of Mexican weapon or skin. Again, not sure, just an idea. Thoughts?
i read that Germany promised Mexico financial support (and possibly hardware support aswell), this might be ''something'' which was gonne be shipped to Mexico by the germans (the SN code having SOME kind of relation to Mexico) try and find more of these stashes is what i would suggest.
There's a skin for the Mondragón Storm called "The Mexican". It's a medic class weapon. Could this be related in some way? Should you be using this weapon and skin while picking up the headphones or something?
With the new "levelution" mechanic affecting terrain, i.e. Making craters in the earth etc.
What if we are looking for coordinates on the map at which an easter egg / clue is buried - to be unearted by making a crater.
Just my 2 cents...
Ok this is weird and it MIGHT be nothing. However since clues can take any shape or form I will say it anyway.
In multiplayer on the map Fao Fortress I was taking cover in a small crater near B towards the coastal side (I'm also facing the coast at this time). At some point I started to get bombarded by what I assume is mortar fire (HE type i think). Some of the terrain in front of me got blown up. I might be crazy but I'm almost certain I saw a teddy bear hovering in front of me for approximately 2-4 seconds, however it was gone quite quickly again due to the amount of explosions around me. I told my teammates which in turn called me crazy.

Is hard to even get a dreadnought...
How do i even use that stuff?
