I don't understand people who have these, and Ive heard the response "oh theyre just trolling". I play on PS4 and I cant help but think these are mostly children who think "hurr durr da symbols cool im uh combunist, mooommmmm, I need to renew my PSN SUBSCRIPTION'" Are these common on PC too?

The Natsoc I beleive are literally people too stupid to differentiate WW1 and WWII.

They are just flags. The country's that flew them don't even exist anymore. Is the Rebel flag equally as offensive? that one was flown 153 years ago.

Don't see it too much on emblems on PC because here you can have any picture that you want showing up at the end of the match (unlike consoles which are limited to your set profile pictures, though Microsoft is planning on adding custom gamerpics to beta testers in the near future).

So you'll get those messed up pictures at the end of a round on spotlights. Seen it all pretty much: lots of pictures about the chancellor/leader of Germany from 1933-1945 (really, that name is censored?), pictures of people's genitals, naked men/women, hentai tentacle Japanese "action" etc.

Worst one was a photoshopped (or I hope at least) *sexually explicit image*, Like damn did that make me lose my appetite, pretty disgusting!

False equivalency, and which one? There were several battleflags during the revolutionary war, are they all equally "offensive".

The point is that the NSDAP flag is no more offensive than say the CCCP flag or the Rebel flag of the CSA. It's just a flag.
Furthermore, Why should they not be able to show any flag they want on their profile?

I'm seeing more emblems with male body parts these days.

Immature adults, or young men who have yet to grow one.

I dont think they shouldnt, I just think its really ignorant to champion an ideology that killed millions or an extinct workers party.

I agree that that the NSDAP ideology is not something to be championed but even if you agree that they should be allowed to show anything they want i don't see the point of this thread? not trying to be rude about it i just don't really see the point.

Lol dude theyre just flags, and believe have different values sorry you cannot fathom that. And fyi, the swastika was a religious symbol, that **** just stole it, and the "racist" confederate flag the stars represent the secession states, and im not sure what other things represent but im pretty sure its not racism and anti black lol and communism is an ideology, bernie sanders was a socialist which is incredibly similar to communism.( And im assuming you are american all your stuff is made in china! Your govt seems to like communists since post coldwar :p ) lol

So, chill out about emblems. (I do think the **** one is pushing it, but i wont get my panties in a bunch over it)

Its one thing if it says racial slurs, but another if its a symbol, some just think they look cool.

It's not really a big deal....end of the day it's an emblem in a video game.

That said, I do agree with the App. Most people who use **** emblems are probably one or several of the following: uneducated, young, low-Income, or immature.

The best is when you have a guy who has both in his emblem.

I believe you can report emblems on PS4  hope this helps. As someone has said above, best thing to do is just report it and move on.

I dont feel the need to report them. I just wanted to get people's thoughts on this.

For one, the Terms of Service state that when it comes to emblems or avatars, it's at DICE/EA's DISCRETION of what THEY think is offensive or unoffensive in terms of what is and isn't going to be removed if it's reported.

Secondly - if you don't like these emblems, technically they COULD be against the ToS, so just report them and they should be dealt with. There were three guys just this week that created threads in the same day saying they got banned for three days and had their emblems removed because they had to do with Swastikas and Third Reich imagery.

Lastly - to the OP, I highly doubt that there are legitimate "kids" that are using those emblems because, and I quote, "hurr durr da symbols cool im uh combunist, mooommmmm, I need to renew my PSN SUBSCRIPTION".

I'm willing to bet most kids these days don't even know what communism or a communist is.

These two things are generally mutually exclusive. The modern "communist", is a cultural marxist who thinks every failed application of communism wasnt real communism.

I don't care enough to report them, my delicate sensibilities can handle an emblem.
I personally dont think these kinds of emblems should be restricted, I just find it funny when I see them.

I usually spend my time teabagging the ones with offensive logos because they deserve it the most... waving flags that represents the systematic slaughter of millions or oppression and tyranny doesn't make you cool it makes you an ***hat.

I was once talking with some people about "dumb stuff we did as kids" and one guy mentioned that he and his friends used to go around spray-painting shwastickers on buildings [misspelled on purpose because I would guess it's censored here].

I didn't know the guy that well, and was shocked that he ever had anything to do with white supremacy. But he laughed and said, "We were 12. We literally had no idea what the symbol meant or what the historical context was. We were told about racism, white supremacy, etc. too, but we really didn't understand THAT stuff either. We were simply kids that were told that the symbol was the WORST thing you could possibly draw on something, so that made us want to do it to rebel. It was literally that simple."

So these symbols are basically visual "F-words" and most of their use in online games are just little kids trying to be offensive just for the heck of it. You could compare it to the high-pitched voices you hear on voice chat calling people "N**** F**s" and using other "naughty words" awkwardly and in the wrong context.

It is an ancient symbol of auspiciousness in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism.
