Understand the frustration. Huge issue with Origin and they refuse to own it. They will point to every other thing like firewall, NAT, yadda yadda, but wont fess up that it's on their side.

You can switch teams by joining your friends squad on the opposite team. And that's absolutely fine.

Should be just squad. I usually wait for a squadmate (a friend) to either die, or he/she wait for me to die before I or they call it in.

Chauchat is worse than the Huot. Absolute cancerous weapon.

Just unlocked this tonight. Don't try to snipe. Play semi-aggressive with it. Lay down in choke points. Reap the reward. PS the Chauchat is poop. Sloth-like. Get ready to get run over by every other weapon.
