* The city is a camping mess with narrow buildings
* The rest of the map is suicide because of a lack of cover
* Counter example: Karkand in BF3, plenty of flanking routes for infantry, yet vehicles were also doing lots of good thi…
There's a lot of tinkering and tweaking you can do. Overall I think it's to easy to just hold mouse 1 (or bash it on semi auto weapons) in most guns in BFV. For console simply create 2 multipliers for spread & recoil and do PCRecoil*0.7…
Why would that require less skill?
Skill can be divided up in multiple categories:
* Tactical play on a large scale: can you predict the battlefield and go with the flow of the match properly?
* Tactical play on a micro scale during fights…

That's with most of my playtime as Assault. I have a tendency to pick everyone up (if the situation permits it), regardless of class.
I can already imagine the end circle with attrition in a BR mode:
Enemy (out of anti tank explosives) standing on top of the tank, hoping to die slower by the circle than whoever is inside of the tank...
A lot of the things you listed are often down to the artist and how they designs them. Animations have looked great in ancient games, regardless of engine and depend a lot on how much effort you put into them.
Same with water, often the right textu…
Actually I think guns should be harder across the board for all classes (I'd redesign how the medic guns behave though) while retaining the bullet damage. It's an indirect way to make TTK/TTD longer.
Tbh it's really difficult to discuss topic without being blunt about gun skill in the game and making everyone angry :expressionless:
I just don't feel there's any real need to burst that much in BF V and recoil is fairly straightfo…
Unpopular opinion regarding TTK:
Damage per bullet is fine but guns are to easy. It's just point and hold mouse 1 or point and bash mouse 1 really fast. 28.53% accuracy on my STG and still rising. In BF3/4 I needed a lot more burst discipline, etc …
Not to mention the so called "ticket bleed" he mentions is extremely slow when teams are fairly even at holding objectives, so killing enemies and not dying is quite important.
I generally follow the motto of: "I will die ev…
ZK 383 Has a heavy kick at a certain point, but overall it's very manageable.
It's something I pointed out about medic guns ages ago when comparing them to AR's from Assault (and BF4/BF3 type guns):
There's recoil that can be controlled with skill…
