I have both 3900x and 9900k. In Battlefield V 9900k is about 20% faster (min fps) @ 1440p with 2080ti. Both overclocked core and memory. Using DX 12 for best performance. This is my experience.
Battlefield V loves low memorylatency for high fp…
Noobs allways have problems. "Bad (slow) hardware kills good games"
I have 9900k @ 5200mhz and 4800mhz mesh. 4133mhz tweaked memory resulting in 38ns memorylatency. GPU is 2080ti @ "stock" 2000mhz.
No stuttering and no lag. Perfectly smooth in DX1…

I have never seen a 8700k that hasn't manage to do 4000mhz memory. Atleast with 2 sticks of b-die. So if Dominator is b-die, it is possible :) You want high frequency for higher bandwidth for SLI, and low latency for high fps. 4000c16/17 is th…
Speed of memory? 4000mhz+ tweaked memory with sub 40ns memorylatency (mesured with Aida64 mem bench) helps ALOT with sli. You need all the memorybandwidth you can get due to dualchannel memory.
With some of the new drivers, I had to run Display Driver Uninstaller and then install new nVidiadriver. Last, you can fix sli with nvidia profileinspector. After all settings in nvidia controlpanel and "inspector" are done like you want, you need t…
You're memory is the bottleneck. 2080 and 2080ti needs high bandwidth on the memory, so to get that you'll need higher frequency memory. 9900k loves 4000+ memory :)
Overclocked memory, you can get sub 40ns memorylatency and 60k GB/s read.

It's called cpubound ::smile:
I'm getting WAY higher fps with my 9900k with 4400mhz memory VS my OLD Ryzen 1800x with 3200mhz memory. Using the same 2080ti gpu.
Underground is perfectly smooth with 9900k using 144hz 3440x1440 monitor. LG 950f
This map is VERY hard on the cpu, and it seams like it's very latency sensitive too. FPS is fine on my 9900k, but not so much with my overclocked Threadripper, even in "gamingmode" (8 core mode)
