Maybe if the team would stay together. If its not a stomp from minute 1 people will leave, resulting in one team having 3-4 players less all the time. Sadly thats also the quickest way to get the achievement for the stug skin.
There is no need for the cpu to stack the other team. As soon as side is "winning" (like 1 point more in the first few minutes of a match) you will have people leave. The temporal imbalance then gets increased because the "losing"…
I have the same problem. Had progress on the last achievement, then it got changed to 5 and the tank was supposed to be in my shiptments. Nothing there, nothing in armory and can't select any new tank with replace vehicle, be it axis or allies.
So what about the rewards that got missed because of a bug in a timed event? Its realy bad that Dice could a) not fix this before the events launched on live servers and b) that there are rewards that can be missed for a long time if not forever.
