BFV air is the most boring in the series.
Imo BF2 was the best, then BF3 and 4.
The mechanics, damage system and upgrade trees are awful. First BF where I have lost intetest in flying and I was really looking forward to ww2 planes.
This is where I disagree. There are 64 players and only a few tanks. I'm not a tanker, never been. I agree on air, thats just broken.
There is a perception that it is all about KDR and the individual player.
This is about combined warfare an…
@VincentNZ This has nothing to do with numbers of vehicles. Its how the game is designed. It's designed for infantry play, not vehicle play. More vehicles wouldnt make any difference with the current map design and vehicle handeling. Vehicles has no…
BF has always had its share of these types of maps and they were popular, agree. I liked to play them my self and they were fun. However, they represented a small percentage of the many maps that has been made through the series. B…
As a pilot I still have ear problems from all the "beeps" comming from stingers and the MAA.
I felt that ground had many opportunities to take down planes and chopper. It was a lot harder to fly in BF3/4 than in BF1/V and …
Have to diagree. The maps has become a lot smaller since BF2 and the number of infantry has increased. In almost any BF game infantry had to deal with tanks, light vehicles, choppers and planes almost constanly. This is not the case…
Agree and BF3/4 were also great games. But BF began to change with BF3/4 and even if I really enjoyed them, it made me worried about where BF was going. Unfortunately it became BFV.
Not a bad game, but just not what I expect from …
Imo this was not a problem from BF42 > BF2. It became more of a problem after where the main playerbase came from other infantry games.
Many years of pressure from this base have now led BF to become more their wish than what the original…
Imo maps like Bander desert, Giants of Karelia and Caspian Border are examples of great maps with lots of cover and a good balance between infantry and vehicle play.
An open map like Panzerstorm with a few small buildings are not.
Unfortunately, I have a feeling that this is what a large part of the current player base wants.
It is as if the memory of BF before BF3 has disappeared into a large black hole.
It seems like most don't want a tactical BF game on large maps …
