Who is your supplier and what router do you have.
Always power cycle your router every few days.
Try a dmz if you haven’t forwarded the ports.
You can run tests like a broadband monitor and check your connection quality.
There are some videos on you tube on how to setup Qos quality of service on your router plus other helpful stuff that may be helpful to you. The reviews do state however that the interface is not the best or easy to use buddy so you may need help
And just one more thing. You don’t have any new devices in the house that are internet enabled since your problem occurred. I would shut them all down and see if you can game ok.
Plus if you can check that the firmware on your router is up to date.

In the menu of the router you might be best googling your router up and seeing what options you have and how best to set it up.
And by the way everyone gets bufferbloat but by slightly reducing your upload and download you can avoid it.
