Welcome to the December 10th edition of This Week in Battlefield V!

This week we finish up Chapter 1: Overture’s first in-game weekly mission as we pave way for the start of the Week 2 Mission that focuses on Squad Play and Reinforcements. The second weekly mission will unlock the Axis Ratburner Helmet if all requirements are met. We also have a minor update scheduled for release as well as other exciting news you won’t want to miss.

As always, timing on these items can always shift, but we want to give you a glimpse into what we have planned so you can tune in as each beat goes live.

Tuesday, December 11th
  • Update – Battlefield V 12-11-2018 Update – A minor update is releasing that addresses some notable issues with game crashes, unlocks, and UI (see below).
  • Update Notes – Battlefield V 12-11-2018 Update – Although the update notes may change over the next 24 hours, here’s a glimpse of improvements we are rolling out tomorrow:
    • Players no longer get spotted on the mini-map after killing an enemy.
    • Fixed an issue where high-level Recon players lost access to the Throwing Knife.
    • Adjusted the initial respawn count on specific maps in Domination mode.
    • Fixed a crash that could occur when being in the Practice Range as a squad.
    • Fixed a crash that could occur when viewing the Tides of War menu.
    • Fixed a crash that could occur when playing the Nordlys War Story.
    • Corrected the Tides of War countdown notice to show the correct number of days.
    • Fixed broken audio when watching the tutorial videos.

    C'est vrai que je ne traduis plus ce genre d'actualité parce que j'avais l'impression qu'il n'y avait pas vraiment de demande ou de besoin, après si certains forumeurs ont besoin d'éclaircissements sur des points précis je pense qu'il y aura toujours quelqu'un ici pour aider.
    Au final, le problème du marquage après une élimination sera bien résolu dès demain avec la nouvelle Màj... Enjoy.

    Apologies for misinforming you that outstanding Company Coin issues have been resolved. Thanks to your feedback and outcries, it’s apparent that this is NOT the case.

    First, we will align internally to identify the following:

    - Why Max Rank 50 players are not receiving Company Coin at EoR
    - Why EoR is not displaying accrued Company Coin
    - When an expected fix is to be implemented
    - When retroactive awarding of missed Company Coin will be issued (if possible)

    Once we have determined these details we will:

    - Provide an ETA on fix
    - Provide clarity on Company Coin accrual model at Max Rank 50
    - Provide insight on retroactive awarding of Company Coin

    Attention un changement concernant le TTK global va avoir lieu à partir du 12 décembre.
    Ceux qui préfèrent les équilibres actuels devront modifier le filtre dans le navigateur de serveur pour jouer avec le TTK actuel.

    Hi Battlefield V Community,

    First and foremost, it’s important to have a healthy dialog between our community and our development teams here at DICE. We’ve got that! We’re thankful for your persistence with being vocal through launch to help us identify and address game issues – please note we’re still hammering out a few improvements for some outstanding ones.

    One of the more trending conversations since the game has released is around TTK (Time to Kill) and TTD (Time to Death). Both are closely intertwined with each other. Again, thanks to feedback from the majority of our community, we will be making some changes to our TTK/TTD damage models. The new changes directly impacts TTK across the game. This is to ensure a more even gameplay experience for all of our players. These changes will roll out globally across all servers starting on Wednesday, December 12th.

    Alongside these changes, we are still working on elements related to TTD improvements including netcode, damage and health feedback, and much more.

    We also recognize that a highly engaged portion of our community prefers the current damage model as it is. To account for this, we have set up a new server playlist called “Conquest Core”. This will be live tomorrow as well. Please use this new playlist when comparing the two models as your feedback on both is instrumental in helping us improve Battlefield V’s gameplay experience. Additionally, this new playlist will evolve over time and is the first step toward a traditional Battlefield “Hardcore” experience.

    We thank you for your feedback as we continue to refine Battlefield V, and also thank you for your time as you test out the two damage models.

    C'était prévu depuis un moment, je crois que c'est pour compenser en partie le problème TTD ( à vérifier ), et l'équilibre actuel va évoluer à l'avenir vers un côté plus hardcore apparemment.

    Ok merci encore oompa, la jtavoue je comprend pu trop ce que DICE veut faire, ils parlé d'un mode CORE pour fusionner les 2 commu bf, et la sa commence a de diviser bref j'attend que tu m'en dise plus, bonne soirée a toi

    Je peux me tromper vu que les développeurs veulent laisser les joueurs dans le flou, à mon avis pour avoir le moins d'a priori possible en testant les changements de demain.
    Mais quand je lis ce qu'il y a ci-dessous j'ai l'impression que la version actuelle va tendre vers un mode hardcore ( il suffira juste d'enlever le marquage, d'ajouter la réapparition uniquement sur le chef d'escouade, le tir ami,...).
    Et la nouvelle version de demain ( un mode normal ) qui est un mystère pour le moment où ils vont peut-être revenir en arrière sur le TTK ( en l'augmentant légèrement ) pour essayer d'avoir un TTD qui soit en corrélation. Mais c'est juste une supposition de ma part...

    Non vous avez pas compris, en gros demain ils déploient le nouveau TTK (qui se rapprocherai de celui de BF1 actuellement d'aprés les tweets ) , on pourra toujours jouer avec le TTK actuel sur les serveur estampillé " core " en attendant l'arriver du mode hardcore prochainement. ;)

    Hi Battlefield V Community,

    Recently we announced that Battlefield V's TTK (Time to Kill) values will be changing in order to faciliate a more even gameplay experience for all of our players, resulting in a more level playing field for new and experienced players alike.

    It's widely accepted within the community that the current TTK values feel 'dialed in' or is 'perfect as is', and that the elements that need to change are those that impact TTD (Time to Death), such as netcode, health models, etc. It's important to note that both TTK and TTD are closely intertwined. Making one change to TTK directly impacts TTD, and vice versa. "But, why futz around with TTK when it's ideal at its current state?" Although not extremely vocal within our deeply engaged community, we see from our game data that the wider player base is dying too fast leading to faster churn - meaning players may be getting frustrated with dying too fast that they choose not to log back in and learn how to become more proficient at Battlefield V. Changing TTK values in addition to improving TTD elements will help these particular instances and hopefully result in better gameplay experiences for players of all skill levels.
    So, enough banter, let's get into the thick of the changes that are going live on Wednesday, December 12th on all servers. Note that we have set up a new server playlist called “Conquest Core” that uses the original TTK values. This will be live tomorrow as well. This new playlist will evolve over time and is the first step toward a traditional Battlefield “Hardcore” experience.
    BATTLEFIELD V TTK CHANGE LIST
    With the TTK changes, we are changing how much damage certain weapons deal to body parts. However, the damage of all weapons to the head remains unchanged and some weapons will not be affected by those changes or very little to limit balance inconsistencies.

    In the table below, you can get an overview of what the body parts vs weapon damage multipliers will be when the TTK changes are active.

    The value in (red, bold parenthesis) represents what this value was with the original TTK values.

    HOW MANY BULLETS WILL I NEED TO KILL SOMEONE NOW?

    In practice, the maximum damage is now lower for most weapons. This means that it will take on average one more bullet to kill with the weapons that are affected.

    The distances at which you will need more bullets to kill will also be affected. Like the table above, here is how it changes now with the original TTK equivalent in (bold parenthesis).

    Semi Auto Rifles
    :
    • Gewehr 43, Selbstlader 1916: Drop to 4 Bullets To Kill around 39 m (never).
    • Turner SMLE: Drops to 4 BTK around 28 m (50 m), 5 BTK around 68 m (never).
    • Gewehr 1-5: Drops to 4 BTK around 13 m (30 m), 5 BTK around 44 m (50 m), 6 BTK around 63 m (never).
    • M1 Carbine: Drops to 5 BTK around 39 m (50 m), 6 BTK around 63 m (never).

    Assault Rifles:
    • Can no longer 4 hit kill with body shots only.
    • Drop to 6 BTK around 21 m (50 m), 7 BTK around 53 m (never).

    LMGs, MMGs:
    • Can no longer 4 hit kill with body shots only.
    • Drop to 6 BTK around 21 m (50 m), 7 BTK around 57 m (never).

    SMGs
    :
    • Can no longer 4 hit kill with body shots only.
    • Drop to 6 BTK around 15 m (25 m), 7 BTK around 32 m (50 m), 8 BTK around 49 m (75 m), 9 BTK around 70 m (never).
    • MP34 does not drop to 9 BTK at range.

    Self-Loading Rifles:
    • Will now require one extra shot when hitting the lower body, arms or legs unless the other shot is a headshot.

    Buckshot Shotguns:
    • Unchanged: Same damage.

    Slug Shotguns:
    • Slightly adjusted: Will deal less damage when hitting lower body, arms or legs.



    Please hop into Battlefield V once the TTK changes are live and spend time with the new values. Compare them with the 'Conquest Core' values of the 'old' TTK stats. We want to know what you think of the changes and if these are viable across all of our dedicated players within the community.

    Cela ne généra pas trop ceux qui ont des aim bot ... 2 Balles .. 1 Tête ... 1 Mort. Si déjà ils travaillaient la dessus forcément on trouverait le TTk moins fumé ... Je dis ça je dis rien.
