Today we’re announcing that the location of each of our Apex Legends™ Global Series (ALGS) Year 3 live events will be in London, England, arguably the center of the world for music, entertainment, and sports – with the esports scene rapidly growing.
The Split 1 Playoffs will take place from February 2-5, 2023, at the Copper Box Arena and more information about the Split 2 Playoffs (July, 2023) and the Year 3 Championship (summer 2023) will be revealed in the new year.
Built for the 2012 Summer Olympic and Paralympic games, the Copper Box Arena has hosted many world-class competitions and top-tier esports events.
Starting tomorrow, Thursday, December 22nd, at 8:00 AM PT / 16:00 GMT, fans can purchase tickets to attend the Split 1 Playoffs at the Copper Box Arena. Be a part of a passionate live audience to experience what competitive Apex Legends is all about. Watch the best teams from each of the ALGS Pro League’s five regions compete in person to crown a global champion on UK soil for the first time ever!

Where can I purchase tickets to the Split 1 Playoffs?

How much do tickets cost; are they single-day tickets, or are they good for the entire weekend?
Single-day and 4-day tickets (good for all event days) are available. Visit Eventbrite for pricing and details.
Are seat numbers assigned or first come, first served?
Tickets are General Admission; seats are not assigned.

SPLIT 1 PLAYOFFS TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The Split 1 Playoffs begin with a 40-team group stage spread across the first two days of competition (February 2-3), where teams will be split into four groups of ten teams and play a single six-match series against every other group.
On Saturday, February 4th, the Bracket Stage begins, and every team will be assigned a starting position in the double-elimination bracket based on their Group Stage performance.
After playing through the double-elimination bracket on Saturday, the top 20 teams will advance to the Match Point Finals.
The Finals will then take place on Sunday, February 5th, and consist of a single Match Point format series to determine the Split 1 Playoffs Champion.
In addition to bragging rights, teams in the Split 1 Playoffs will be competing for a share of the $1,000,000 USD prize pool and valuable Playoff Points to help teams qualify for the year-end ALGS Championship in Summer 2023.
SPLIT 1 PLAYOFFS COMPETITION SCHEDULE
ALGS Fans will be able to watch their favorite teams compete in person against the very best teams from all over the world across four action-packed competition days from inside the Copper Box Arena or online on the ALGS Twitch and YouTube channels.
