Introducing Buffz & Bruisez to Plants vs. Zombies 2

Starting on August 28, 2018, botanical battlers, you’ll be able to Blast your way into Fall with a heap and a half of exciting new features. Leading the bushel, you’ll be able to experience the all new Buffz & Bruisez system now! Check it out:

Zomboss has been looking for ways to give his minions an edge, and really shake up his leafy foes in Arena. However, not everything has gone to plan, and his attempt to leave some Plants weaker than ever has also made Plants stronger. . Each week, Plant families will be affected differently, so be sure to adapt your strategy and try out new combinations of Plants. Out-clever Zomboss and get even higher scores!

Plants affected by Buffs & Bruisez will perform either better or worse against Zombies:

• Ineffective - These Plants just can’t seem to beat the Zombies no matter how hard they try! You won’t be able to damage the Zombies with these Plants.
• Weak - These Plants aren’t packing their normal punch. Even the strongest Bonk Choy is going to feel like a weakling when punching Browncoats.
• Strong - These Plants are powered up and ready to take on the Zombies like never before! Each hit against the Zombies will be more effective than usual, and they’ll be knocking the fundead out in no time.

Arena Practice

With Buffz & Bruisez, your usual tactics are likely going to be shaken up every week, and we understand that might make you worried about leaping into Arena without a chance to take a few risk-free tries to figure out your strategy. Don’t worry, because we’ve got you covered!

Each week, you’ll be able to preview the upcoming Arena Tournament in a testing ground, which will appear in the Travel Log as a weekly quest. You’ll be able to try the tournament three times without having to exchange any gauntlets. While you won’t receive any direct rewards, you’ll be rewarded with the knowledge of how to put together a solid team of Plants for that week’s tournament when it kicks off.
