Tips and Tricks: Weirding Woods Free-roam Region
Get tips on defeating Weirding Woods’ boss and more in PvZ: Battle for Neighborville.
Welcome to the wacky wilds of Weirding Woods! In Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville™, free-roam regions are areas you can explore alone or with up to three friends. Embark on missions, battle enemies, search for golden gnomes, take on challenging boss battles, and more. Each one has a ton of fun stuff to do, so squad up and get growing!
This free-roam region contains a zombie story mode and includes three main areas: Camp Near-a-Lake, Stirring Swamp, and the Z-Tech Factory. To reach Weirding Woods, talk to Seabasstian in Zomboss HQ.
Boss Battle: Dreadwood
Be very, very quiet – Dreadwood is sleeping. Oh, wait, he’s awake. Nevermind. When confronting final boss, Dreadwood, remember not to get blown or knocked off the ledge surrounding him! If you fall off, you’ll land in a pit of Dreadroots, and they’re not fond of those who invade their space. Take cover behind anything you can find to avoid getting knocked into the pit and watch out for flailing roots!
General Tips:
- Jumping into Air Jets can launch you to different parts of the map – some might even be secret. Use them to get places you might not otherwise be able to reach. Looking for a gnome or chest in a tree? Maybe an Air Jet can help you reach it!
- If you get to Weirding Woods and don’t know what to do, talk to any of the zombies and they’ll give you clues about what to do next. Complete all of the challenges to unlock new areas to explore!
- Each region has valuable chests and gnomes to discover. Can’t find them? Locate Otto Do who can sell you a map with their locations. Just go into your map, tag the chest or gnome you’re looking for, and a compass will appear to guide you there.
