Swim with the Sharks
Our roots in Orlando run deep. We’ve called this area home since 1998 when EA acquired Tiburon Entertainment after a four-year collaboration on EA SPORTS Madden NFL. Today, EA Tiburon remains our key EA Worldwide Studio facility and EA SPORTS development studio in Florida. Don’t be surprised if you see shark-themed wall art, birthday balloons and other memorabilia around the studio that celebrates our unofficial studio mascot, the “tiburón,” which means “shark” in Spanish.

We’re pretty sure Floridians invented the word “staycation.” Beyond Orlando’s iconic theme parks, world-renowned Atlantic and Gulf Coast beaches, golf courses, nature parks, sporting venues and more are all just a short drive away. The partnership allows for EA SPORTS to be the exclusive developer of simulation college football video game experiences. Development of EA SPORTS College Football is just underway, with launch timing still to come as the project progresses in the years ahead.
