ULTIMATE TEAM PROGRAMS

Fan-favorite Ultimate Team programs will drop upgraded and enhanced player items throughout Season 1. Start your Madden NFL 24 Ultimate Team journey with Headliners, Legends, and Team Builders during launch weekend and stay tuned for more programs coming soon like AKA and Campus Heroes.

Headliners: Take your Ultimate Team to the front page with Headliners in Season 1: Next Era. Look for 87 OVR Headliners Champion QB Kenny Pickett, as well as a 78 OVR Odell Beckham Jr. earned by completing Challenges and upgraded with Tokens. 

Legends: Get a boost with some of the greatest to ever grace the gridiron with Ultimate Team Legends. This year you can get up to four different versions of each Legend that represent the different peaks of their illustrious careers by completing weekly gauntlet-style challenges, earning Legends Tokens, and more.

Team Builders: Craft your Ultimate Team roster around your favorite NFL squad with Team Builders. At least one player will be released per NFL team, and theme teams will receive a huge benefit as players are released that can fill essential gaps in your theme team. Each Team Builder will have an 85 OVR at launch.

Team Captains: Every team needs a leader, and every NFL team has designated captains that take on leadership roles on and off the field. Fill this essential role on your MUT roster by earning up to four Team Captains by progressing along the new Team Captains Field Pass. Upgrade each Captain’s OVR with Tokens earned on the Field Pass, and get a chemistry boost whenever you have multiple Captains in your lineup. If you upgrade a Captain all the way to 85 OVR, you’ll unlock all 32 Team Chemistry options to give your theme team a significant boost.

Season 1 also includes the launch of the reworked Competitive Field Pass. The Competitive Pass will now start on the first Friday of each season and last until the end of the season. Plus, there will now be two Competitive Pass-exclusive player items to chase each season. The base version will be BND (account-bound) with Champion-level abilities. The limited version of that player item has an extra Champion-level ability and is auctionable, but it can only be obtained by the first 1000 users to reach a specific level in the Pass. The two featured players on the Competitive Pass for Season 1 are George Pickens (WR, Steelers) and A.J. Terrell (CB, Falcons).

Elsewhere in Season 1, we’re also elevating two more players with X-Factor abilities that you can use to dominate opponents in Play Now: Jalen Hurts and Austin Ekeler.

  • Superstar X-Factor: Run & Gun
    • Many passers like Hurts use a combination of mobility and aggressiveness to make big plays. When Hurts enters the zone, he will have perfect accuracy while throwing on the run.
    • Trigger Requirements: Make three consecutive passes for 5+ yards in air
    • Knockout Requirements: Passer sacked one time
• Austin Ekeler | HB | Los Angeles Chargers
  • Superstar X-Factor: Wrecking Ball
    • Wrecking Ball runners don't avoid contact. They create it. When Ekeler enters the zone, he has an increased success rate on trucks and stiff arms.
    • Activation Requirements: Rush for 10+ yards three times
    • Knockout Requirements: Get tackled for loss one time

Superstar is back with an all-new Showdown mode where you call your plays on the fly like a dominant superstar, get real-time player grading, flex with all new celebrations and do it in style with all-new Season 1 gear drops from Jordan, Nike Kickoff, and more.
